Not to brag but yes, I have been writing lyrics since I was 11 years old and I have plans to eventually self publish some poetry of mine one day. But more to the initial point, just because people have negative opinions about her latest albums, it doesn't mean they actually hate her current work with a burning passion, so I don't think anyone would feel the need to completely discard Lana at the drop of a hat.

2 more days and we'll know if Terrence's prophecy is right if not then we can burn him at the stake.

People are just saying they prefer UV more, there's nothing else to that. It doesn't make someone a bad or questionable person if they prefer one album over the other and wish for Lana to have the same vibes in her future work. That's because it's true.

I mean, it's very good. Lana's poem seemed to be more detailed and longer, and I don't think it's a bad poem. I myself read a lot of poetry and some writers just have a different styles I guess.

Obviously 'Happy' is a poem, it looks like it was written up on the typewriter Lana was using in one of her snippets

Fair enough, but I just don't think we'll get a much different sound on the other songs we haven't heard that's all --- In other news, I hope Terrence is right about 22nd feb and lana drops the album cover since she's being generous on Insta lately

For me it has nothing to do with nostalgia since I wasn't even a fan of Lana when BTD came out. It's purely about the sound. I was basing it off the three songs and snippets. I'm not expecting something mindblowing, but still good.

Ya'll crazy right?? Her music and lyricism has definitely dwindled since her UV days. LFL and NFR have basic medicore production. It just sounds like muffled noise with cheap beats over it. Don't get me wrong, I love a lot of songs on LFL and I love MAC and VB, but her earlier stuff was stellar and iconic. Her latest stuff sounds painfully basic. It's not rich in sound, there's no storytelling as compelling as OTTR and Black Beauty - none. Even if your opinion is the complete opposite to mine, I can't take anyone seriously if you say her latest stuff is better.
