  1. I made a single cover of the song if anyone wants to use it
  2. In the light of recent events, I would strongly advise the following racist users @TheBlackestDay, @blackbeaches, and @@Blackjesus to change their usernames. If you fail to comply, your accounts will be terminated. Thank you.
  3. To me, the 'black narccisist' is a metaphor for depression/demons. Some people really don't know how to interpret lyrics do they? Where was the same energy when she released Black Beauty? Their fake wokeness is showing.
  4. Are some stans REALLY that fucking dumb or https://twitter.com/meanspice/status/1082676554306650112 https://twitter.com/meanspice/status/1082676554306650112
  5. Can't wait for Cinnamon to be released so ya'll can have a 5 page argument about how 'Cinnamon' is an offensive slur to ginger people.
  6. Posted this in the lyric thread: The Black Narcissus line might be referring to the movie Black Narcissus (1942): A group of Anglican nuns, led by Sister Clodagh, are sent to a mountain in the Himalayas. The climate in the region is hostile and the nuns are housed in an odd old palace. They work to establish a school and a hospital, but slowly their focus shifts. Sister Ruth falls for a government worker, Mr. Dean , and begins to question her vow of celibacy. As Sister Ruth obsesses over Mr. Dean, Sister Clodagh becomes immersed in her own memories of love. It kinda ties in with the rest of the song I think, but it could be a reach. I don't think she was referring to Kanye or Azealia.
  7. Omg were really gonna have an argument about race and we literally got a new song a few hours ago. Nothing will save us.
  8. A white person being called a 'white cracker' isn't racist tho...
  9. In tha case...imagine how amazing Cinnamon will be in full
  10. Tbh I'm still trying to gather my thoughts about what it means...but I feel like I understand what it means but I have trouble putting it into words lol
  11. Blue Jeans single cover vs Sylvia single cover Like...I know to some people single covers don't mean much, but to me it does especially when you know Lana's single covers used to SLAY. Honestly it's like she's not even trying? Single covers are what draw people to listen to the song, it's like what they say "it's all about presentation". If I saw the Sylvia cover without knowing about Lana, nothing would make me want to listen to it because it literally looks like it'll be a song recorded on an iPhone and uploaded to Bandcamp or something... But thank god the song itself is a masterpiece so maybe I'll let it slide Edit: Happy 600 pages gays!

  13. Her best work, lyrically. Even more than Heroin. Like...Lana really said "I'm gonna give the gays what they want" and then wrote this.
  14. My thoughts exactly. Why would she ruin a beautiful song by mentioning someone like Azealia? She was obviously referring to herself.
