I just noticed that all of Lana's previous releases were "℗ 201x Lana Del Rey, under exclusive license to Universal Music Domestic Rock/Urban, a division of Universal Music GmbH" or "℗ 201x Lana Del Rey, under exclusive license to Vertigo/Capitol, a division of Universal Music GmbH" in Germany (and Austria), whereas Love is just "℗ 2017 Lana Del Rey". Does anybody have an idea why this could be?
This is what makes me believe her whole music/audience is aimed to be indie rather than mainstream.

I much prefer Yayo (Paradise Edition) to AKA version. It sounds more rich and she sounds like an angel. I'd love for her to re-do some of her old songs that have lots of potential like Go Go Dancer, All Smiles, Mermaid Motel/Hotel (?) etc.

Honestly, you won't regret it. He has so many great songs on his studio album Grace, my favorite being Mojo Pin. At first I didn't really like his music so it may take a few more listens lol

I actually love the glass break sound before the last chorus. Just wish there were some backup singers to bring it more to life for the big finish.

I'd read that. A 5,000 word @longtimeman post is bound to be more worthwhile than 500 typical 10-word posts made around here. Yes, this was another thought I had that I should have included in my essay-length post. It's another reason why I don't think people should get too hung up on national origin in excluding Barrie from consideration here. I think the phrase "Best American Record" is meant more to evoke the same sort of grandiose artistic ambition associated with the concept of the "Great American Novel" than nationality.
This also kinda reminds me of the lyrics in her song 'Is This Happiness'

Why's there that annoying ass sound in the start?
Someone on here (can't remember who) said the audio could be from a MV, and someone got the audio from that (also explains the glass breaking sound later on in the song). Like those special effect sounds.

I hope it does have a dark spacey vibe but I was also hoping for a brighter colour. I based this off the Love video (cause that's all we got to work with). Are we 100% sure BAR is the album name? I have a feeling Lana will change it (like she did with YAIL when in leaked).
