I always find that there are little moments of each record that standout to me, whether its the way an instrument plays, a specific verse lyric, or the way she sings a certain word... so what are everyone's favorite moments on this record? I love the first 10 seconds of For Free, the little vape crackle in White Dress (I always just thought it was a random sound effect until someone identified it as her vape on here), the way she sings "just to rest my nerves, darling" in Tulsa Jesus Freak, the bridge of Dance Till We Die, her little humming sounds in White Dress, and the big cymbal crashes in Tulsa Jesus Freak when she sings "white hot forever"

Flame colors indicate its heat index. White flames are hotter than red or orange ones, but blue are the hottest I think. She's saying "white hot forever" to indicate that whatever she's singing about is really hot. White hot = very hot

My last post in the pre-release era... I've loved chatting about the record with everyone who has already listened. It's been so long, but I remember hearing the Paradise snippets and I remember lurking during the Ultraviolence pre-release; I remember the muffled Honeymoon songs we got from the Urban Outfitters speakers; the constant conversation and fantasies about Best American Record, Yosemite, Life is Beautiful, etc. before they all leaked... Pre-release is Lanaboards at its peak, and this era has been so much fun Here's to the next album and it's messy pre-release era! I hope everyone enjoys the new record

I'm thinking it'll get a 7.8 at least. Maybe a low 8 at best? They really loved The greatest, NFR, Hope and Venice Bitch and there really aren't songs on COCC that are comparable in greatness besides White Dress. They didn't even review Chemtrails' title track when it came out, which is pretty telling I would be really surprised if it got Best New Music even though I think COCC is great and deserves it

I feel similarly about all of her records lol. There's usually one or two songs that really do it for me each record. For LFL it was Heroin. For NFR it was VB and NFR.
