    Every era I love to follow this little fact, I'm not sure if anyone pointed it out yet but she's (unknowingly?) keeping the trend of opening the album with strings or guitar, and alternating it by era:

     

    BTD: Strings (song: BTD)

    UV: Guitar (song: Cruel World)

    HM: Strings (song: HM)

    LFL: Guitar (song: Love)

    NFR: Strings (song: NFR)

     

    And she's alternates whether or not the title track is an opener or the second song!

     

    I wonder if it's an accident or not

    my thoughts on the album now that I'm off mod queue lol!:

     

    1. California is my favorite track

    2. Cinnamon is amazing but a little underwhelming 

    3. I miss BAR and don't really like the new chorus for TNBAR. I think the old one would fit soo well with the NFR themes

    4. MAC/VB are still amazing, but are a little worn out to me

    5. I am playing HIAB a lot more often than I thought I would! It's such an easy track to listen to!

    6. NFR, the song, is in my top 5 favorite tracks on this record. It's such a nice song to listen to and I love the subtle humor of it

    7. Hope is an amazing album closer and one of the best songs on the record. I know it's an unpopular opinion but now that we know much of the backstory to the track, it's hard to say it's not good or interesting just because it's so stripped back.

    8. Love Song is beautiful but that second verse isn't as good as the first 

    9. I have played HTD once and probably won't willingly listen again...

    Y'all. Remember this?

     

     

    So I went to his concert the other day. I brough a toothbrush with me and put in in a gift pouch along with a note to make sure he understands it's just me joking around. I made sure to pick it up before Church came on, because that's when I know he'd get down to the crowd. I held it up and he saw me from stage, gave me a small smile ( :defeated:) and placed his hand on his chest to tell he was flattered and that's when I knew he'd come and get it. He walked around a bit more on stage before it was time, then he got down ("AAAAMENNNN!!! AAAMEEHEHENENNNN!!"), sang with the crowd, stepped down from the step at the berrier, turned around, found my hand and touched it briefly as he accepted my ridiculous gift. HIS FINGERS FELT SO SOFT!! :defeated: I know it only lasted for like a second, but I thought they'd feel more rough considering how much guitar he plays. :defeated:

    I can't stop thinking back to that moment, I feel blessed, my left hand has been blessed by this forest god and I shall never forget it. :trisha:

    My first impressions ratings of the LQ version of the record:

     

    NFR 9/10 

    Fuck It I Love You 10/10

    Love Song 10/10 

    Cinnamon Girl 9.5/10 possibly a 10/10 upon a HQ listen, just a little disappointed after all the hype I had for it

    California 9.5/10 thought the chorus wasn't as good as I hoped but I have a feeling it may be a 10/10 after multiple listens

    TNBAR 8/10 Chorus change really threw me off..... still a good track, would have been 9/10 without the changes

    The Greatest 8/10 I can't get into for some reason, with that being said, I still love it

    Bartender 9.5/10 SO BEAUTIFUL AND AN UNEXPECTED FAVORITE

    HIAB 8/10 I like it much better than I thought I would! It just got a little boring after like 2 minutes

     

    (These ratings will probably go up/down after I listen in HQ)

    Y'all might roast my ratings but whatever:

     

    1. Venice Bitch (though I literally can't listen to it anymore because it brings up too many memories of last fall which is sad for me)

    To be clear, I am amazed and love all of these songs so much, so the fact that MAC the least favorite from this era doesn't mean much because I still love it and think it's an amazing song
