i really don't understand how your whole shtick is wanting artists to grow yet you think lana making the same music with jack over and over again is evolutionspilled even harder.

David Gilmour. At least he could provide some guitar elements.

We are tired of Jack and yet we’re getting another album entirely produced by him filled with piano ballads
Andrew Watt gave us fuck it I love you and Doin Time - two bops. and we need more of them rn. She can keep folk for country flop album with Nikki.

This is so funny and sad at the same time

I remember thinking that it felt to me like we got a peek inside Lana’s diary with Norman, but she’s more personal on this album, and Chemtrails is more cohesive so I don’t know why I don’t like it more. Take away BAR (and doin’ time) and Norman is perfect, but this album kinda is perfect sonically. Yet, I still prefer Norman. It doesn’t really make sense. :/
Imo Normie is superior. I already kinda forgot about COCC.

I just watched a UV reaction on youtube (by Vinyl Junkies), and this guy said "outFUCKINGstanding" when West Coast ended and I felt that
pls Ms Lana give us something like that.

Kinda agree. White Dress is my fav from COCC but Jack should have gone wilder. Lana really needs someone who’s capable of doing THINGS with drums and not (as someone’s already mentioned in this thread) put them in a song like they’re playing in a different room.

Alex Turner
@Terrence Loves Me the way I’m listening to this song rn

The way we manifest so many good things and she doesn’t give a fuck
we need another album „for fans” but actually with our advice unlike LFL. Psychodelic rock album with synths is comming

14 minutes ago, Terrence Loves Me said:I think what annoys me so much about Lana doing folk is just, she's so much bigger than folk. Her capability is huge and she take her voice in so many different directions. With folk i just feel like she's wasting her potential. She sounds great doing it, but i find it too minimal for her. I often have this urge to wanna hear her scream on a song again, or use her voice in a really quirky and funny way again, like she did in the Lizzy and BTD days. If u think about it she hasn't really used her voice to play a character since Ultraviolence! I want her to moan and scream and sound desperate. I don't want to hear her sing softly on another full record.
Not when AKA, BTD and UV are literally right there, wearing crowns in her discography.
Rock Candy Sweet needs to be rock, it neeeeeeds to be!
Gonna sing it like a bible hymn.

No country please

back to talking about vinyl variants.

I’m streaming Normie rn and ugh. Her magnum opus.
Chemtrails is fine...
Have really high expectations for RCS. As Gemini said, hope it has summery vibes.

Now that we tech have every color of the rainbow i’m good. That n the magma back of the beige vinyl that looks peach. But. Off white pearlescent ftw always
Not us continuing the convo in between the fcking scats
