How very awkward for you when you realise that 'ageing' is the British spelling of your 'aging' annnyway ya people get older. I think she looks better, despite her 'aging'.

Seriously? Ageing? Either you're 12 or a writer for the Daily Mail.

@@Philomene , either you misunderstood Lolita, or you misunderstand Lana's songs Lana's songs that contain Lolita references aren't at all implying that's it's an "omg luv story" One example: - "Light of my life, fire of my loins Be a good baby, do what I want" relating to either Herbert's desire to dominate Dolores, or the constant turbulent power dynamics between H and D (H: "be a good baby" H: "do what I want!" would be an imagined conversation)

Lana Del Rey Shooting New Short Film, "Tropico"
ElectrasHeart replied to TIARNZUS's topic in New Releases
It's a good thing nothing in the Book of Lies actually happened, otherwise people would have the right to get offended at the links between The Virgin Mary & a stripper wanting to get f*cked hard. -
The novel "Lolita" doesn't concern a paedophile, it deals with H.H's hebephilia (hence why he doesn't want anyone younger, it's a specific age range). Also, the entire Off to the Races is a "Lolita" reference. For almost every line of the song, I can think of something in the novel.

...What? Are we looking at the same legs? If so, There's a difference between unflattering clothes and actually making someone seem 'big', by the way.

Given that this was written for Gatsby, we must keep in mind that Daisy (the female protagonist) is an incredibly materialistic, shallow woman. The 'diamonds' part really linked this to Daisy. Although I think Baz has taken a different approach with her, making her a poor romantic like Gatsby, the trailer certainly hinted at it.
