I'm hopin BB's more of the brusque to cocc's demure. and god the album deserved more recognition and promo. she basically dropped it and left it in the cold

ya'll can shit on the lack of promo era etc. but the three tracks are incredibly strong n solid. lets hope the album finishes strong n although I do appreciate cocc (lol) here's to her being able to finish the record off w more power and dynamism in its sound

I'm excited for the track where she loves n focuses on herself and doesn't sound like she needs to belong to anyone else.

so far we have the three tracks cherry blossom n thunder and map of LA Dealer supposedly. tone's pretty blunt so far. I miss more of the dynamism her music would have. WW's the closest we have of that hopefully so far. BB n TB are more like memoirs that're touching but. we'd like more fire

I can imagine like a love bliss track mentioning him or something so defo that could be a possibility. the BB snippet video that we saw could've been alright if it was just his silhouette but I understand her not wanting to include him bc of it. i'm pretty sure w everything going on she's gotta be tired of that whole cycle.

pandemic run off boyfriend/engaged/ cancelled she's an aunt now clearing cycles of pain w BB, WW, n TB makes me think that she's trying to piece something perfect and if the relationship fallout is what's delaying the record, then yeah forsure it's a major setback to the "bones" of the record but it's still a very much smart move to've released the 3 tracks, they're pretty solid w or w/o n w the current title track's context n story, would still work without him. dealer was supposed to be on the tracklist still rite? WW's still versatile enough to be about a love song centered from learning and doing better than her predecessors. TB's that nostalgia moment i'm wondering how much of an involvement the relationship seeped into the record and just in general what changes/ waiting for inspiration- moments that she's looking for to finish the record. i'm sure there'll be a wild happy n free moment of a track, so what's blocking her from doing so

i think ultimately that it just means that she's comfortable in her overall world of sound but still very much moves comfortably and grows from it from her past stuff. the dryness of the 3 tracks compared to the more lush kind of production gives me more btd vibes in that way but i hear when ya mention lfl too. i kinda hope she goes a bit more aka i think it's a blend of that with btd i can't explain why atm i'm kinda hoping she has more tracks in this overall tone too with the more languid and smoother lush sound that we know she's capable of doing she's consistent with her music identity but keeps growing too

I mean it's a bit of a stretch, heroin'd be the equivalent of bb, with the easing of the melodies to more swooping choruses n pre-choruses. agree a bit w tb to get free ww reminds me of change w the tone of melody n similar more expressed uneasiness in their tone what distinguishes this release is the literal bluntness in their composition n overall tone to even her just releasing them all at once n then dipping wrote this in a minute, not kidding
