  1. I kinda had a suspicion that maybe she had some kind allergy or something w the way she sounded lighter, or at least it makes total sense.

I’m going back and I’m so happy she sang Without You, and first at that. It was the first song that I fell in love of hers. I keep going back to the gorgeousness of the stage, and how she fit it perfectly.

  2. I've been watching more movies to softly combat the pulling wheelings of everyday life/ obligations.

    In theaters, Dune 2.
At home, a special movie to me that I'm just gonna keep to myself. It always makes me laugh and puts me in a good mood.

  3. Cinnamon Girl / Fishtail
The greatest / Let Me Love You Like A Woman
This Is What Makes Us Girls / High By The Beach
    California / Heroin
    Sad Girl / Religion
Ultraviolence / The Blackest Day but also ->
-> The Blackest Day / West Coast in different ways
    Gods & Monsters / Freak
    Cola / AW
Music To Watch Boys To / When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing
    Change / Fingertips

  4. I fell in love with Born To Die, the album. And it’s magical that she sang Without You at Coachella, bc that’s the song that just drew me in. The contrast to it. I’d start with Diet Mountain Dew first, and then the album in order.

Supplement them with the music videos. And if you get interested, check out the performances of said songs during those times.

West Coast is when I claimed myself as a fan. Think of the places surrounding the albums, or connect them to a place familiar to you that you’d like, to really immerse yourself.

Try to listen to things in it’s natural progression, it’ll be a clear adventure of progress and her story as an artist, have fun 🤍

I know she gets a lot of flack, especially starting out, but listening to her stuff and actually understanding what she sings about is such a beautiful counterpoint to popular opinion.

ive been adoring artists who make music(?) in a 'sign crushes motorist' style. not sure if they are the ones who totally created the style but those monologues over sad slow instrumentals talk about topics in such a relatable way that and I find that 'mystifying'

Ya got examples? I’d like to hear some

  6. Title. / Songs / Music

Where information's at our fingertips, search screens to music, artists with clear messages,
in contrast, who are some artists that leave you mystified, and leave room for wonder?
