as much as I loved last nights performance, I'm kinda just excited to see round 2 next week. I enjoyed it despite some things that weren't really in her control.

nah the review wasn't harsh, i think maybe some fans just didn't know what to do w an overall bad review, at least on this one.

no I get you, I really do. like wear whatever u want, but Lana had this magnificent looking stage, but them she just comes in the Adam Sandler outfit, like maybe she could've altered it a little to cater to the stage production

Entrance - jealous girl, motorcycles check. 
ss, west coast, DT, cherry - check. 
even pwyc, the floor moment. 
guest appearances, check. 
hologram moment, check. 
pole dance moment, check. 
young and beautiful, even if there were issues, the moment was just made to be this ethereal thing, check. 

for me, I think the moment somewhere in between the grants and ocean blvd, kinda made things feel a bit stagnant, which. it's ok, but I really love those songs, I don't think it translated as well live. 

Jack just kinda being there with the hologram was like a, huh? moment. (also, maybe raise the hologram on the screens as well for maximum impact)
it was shaky w Jon Batiste, bc I think people didn't know who he was?

I think if they've gotten more footing, and let some songs kinda simmer and take their time, they should be ok. 
also, change the sound system cus what the hell was that at some parts if not most? 


I think she made the setlist in a way that it was for a current coachella, all the while still making it feel like a dreamy sequence, where she gets her moment 4 life moment, but. I do kinda hope she just continues shrugging off the outside factors, and gives us cult mother goddess del rey, with a true idgaf, this is what I'm doing energy that some certain sounds didn't allow her much. 


- maybe if they could bring some sort of firebreather moment as part of the act for that maximum moulin rouge effect that she had before w the tour intro. 
- get some roses, throw them back at the audience for more connection. (they'll never forget that).
- we need some kind of rose petal moment for sfx

Woman really came to serve, and aside from the sound(?) being weird, she performed a good lot of song, while looking like a fire-haired dream. 
 

It was a bit shaky for me to watch sometimes, and I get what others are saying too, but at the end of yesterday, we really got a good amount of performance time. Can’t really complain imo

I think the pacing would've helped the show a lot more. to let each song sort of really shine. it felt a bit jumbled at some parts, w the ballad after ballad, so, as much as the set and visuals looks so on were flawless, it kinda felt a bit like they were having to rush.

add in FJM instead, and letting that cult mythos part of her music shine, and it's an immediate festival opus 

like if she wanted to start with some drama, she could've inserted the Grants towards the first half to let it shine, and then ocean, but (sorry) have it shortened a bit, bc that's where it felt a bit dissonant. and i could feel at least from here on the thread, that people were starting to doze off. 

the americana sound at the end's nice, but we could've gotten a more dynamic send off song wise. and then she could've ridden off while the fireworks and guitars were blaring 

I'm rewatching it already, the set, the intro and stronger start. it felt like things slowed down towards the 3rd part, and then Billie n surprise guests. 
I could see the vision, but something about the execution was kinda lacking
