He says at that point he was willing to help her do anything to help her artistic vision come to life (especially understanding that 2 times amount Sony offered was a big deal to a artist trying to make ends meet) He says she told him she wanted to be "Gangsta Nancy Sinatra" and he was sold! Ed/Ben/Lana signed officially and INterescope helped them make BTD with Emile Haynie and Justin Parker. BTD cost only $183,000. says he got an idea to write a letter to Jimmy Iovine to send to Lorne Michael of SNL about getting Lana on. Discussed how being an A&R is about believing in the vision when no one else does. Says the Brian Williams article was very hurtful to him and to lana (bc at the time Brian Williams was a respected journalist - which is funny now because he got fired and lost journalistic integrity for fabricating a story about jumping out of a plane in the Iraq war in 2003 _ LOL did "did anyone else die for you") Larry talks a bit more about how she and Chief Keef at such important musical figures who have shaped music and provided a breath of fresh air to a time of stagnant music. Blake Lee has a LENGTHY interview and in one small part (30 minute mark) he speaks about his time working on Ultraviolence and his first time meeting Lana! Blake says he first met Lana and he was simply himself, no expectations. Byron helped him get the audition. He says the First show they played together was secret and under an alias name in NYC. aww I love that she felt so happy with her last show and that it went so well she wanted to keep doing more! that is a good thing for us fans ! I also love love love how she makes the decisions (to touch grass and ground herself!) and I find it very refreshing that she is so kind and chill backstage and mingles with her band/dancers/singers. im not surprised at all but it is nice to see

it really is so inspiring how she has lived her life and manifested and traversed through the darkness & the uncertainty in finding a manager & then the culture criticism of her lyrics back in 2013/2014 and now where people are open for those sort of lyrical contents. idk it just makes me feel emotional and excited to see where this new record goes and what it inspires ugh the vogue interview made me happy emotional for some reason and the tea that she and Francesco were engaged. and her wondering his thoughts on her 2019 cover. idk all the feels.

so happy for her ! as a fan i feel protective & i just hope she had a prenup, with how fast they got things moving. obviously no one ever ever thinks someone would go after a partners money & when married most believe the money then becomes shared - but he has 3 kids from another marriage & i just hope her previous incomes and coins are protected so that there is no dispute later on in life from extended relatives , him, etc. obviously it’s none of our business i just hope it is an iron clad prenup is all.
