Does anyone think maybe Better Than That IS about Ellie but Marina's saying it's not because she doesn't want to start drama?

 

I think it may be one of those "you know who you are" things where Ellie knows it's about her and that's enough. Marina doesn't seem like the type to childishly single people out and start feuds.

I 100% think so, it really doesn't fit for anyone else + if it wasn't about Ellie, surely she would've outright said that when the rumours popped up?

She never actually said anything, but people kept tweeting her about it so she blocked them. Then she posted a photo on IG saying Nobody Cares, whilst also tweeting Drake lyrics that suggested she was mad about the song.

I feel like she should've said motherfucker more times in CPMD and used some more expletives throughout the entire album

I'm appalled she would perform Mowgli's Road over Oh No and Better Than That... Also Pin Me Down doesn't seem like a song I would care to see live that much...

i havent seen the video yet but apparently the live version of CPMD is better than the studio

WHy the hell is everyone so mad for Roses? It's just a song title and could easily be the crappy laptop demo for Because of You or something.

I think it's because it's been known about for so long people have been getting more and more desperate for it, so it'll be a huge relief when it finally leaks (like with Because of You).

The thing is, everyone knows he has all of the tracks mentioned for a few artists through whatever means...yet won't share them. It's not like he never mentioned the songs either. I don't think Angry All The Time was a widespread title until after he mentioned it (I could be wrong). And as a general statement in regards to Lana unleaked songs, people have them but in order to prove "loyalty" or out of their own greed they don't leak music (which ISN'T their property to withhold from others to begin with).

Well if he has repeatedly mentioned having tracks but hasn't leaked them, then that's a pretty dickish move to make. There does tend to be a rampant "holier-than-thou" attitude amongst hoarders which should be discouraged, but, for the most part, a lot of hoarders keep their tracks for legitimate reasons.

Tbh...why keep songs to yourself in the first place? It's like you're contracted by her label to prevent songs from spreading...they aren't your property.

there's lots of different reasons for not leaking songs, i know on the outside it seems very simple but it's actually really not. you might have been given the songs by a friend, so you're not leaking them out of friendship. it might have a trader's beats in (ie. LODV2), so you might be waiting to get the "real" version. you might hold on to it in order to trade for some more tracks. there's lots of reasons for not leaking, it's not as simple as just a superiority complex (although i think that if you proclaim to have them + leak snippets but not the track, then you're a dick)

 

We know that Lady Gaga loves her monsters, but this news still took us by surprise: The music superstar announced on Feb. 25 via Twitter that she would be starring in the fifth season of FX’s American Horror Story, premiering in October.

 

 

In a quick video, Gaga, who acted on the big screen in 2013’s Machete Kills and 2014’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, also revealed that this year’s AHS would be subtitled Hotel. The show has always attracted top-tier talent (Academy Award winners Jessica Lange and Kathy Bates appeared previously) and has even drawn some music icons (Stevie Nicks and Patti LaBelle have had small roles). But to nab a global sensation on the level of Gaga for a 13-episode series is nothing short of a TV miracle.

 

So how did creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk do it? EW has learned that Gaga and Murphy have been talking since last fall, and that once the right role was crafted for her, she was fully on board. Still, everyone involved remained silent about the talks—FX didn’t even know about Gaga’s interest in the show—realizing what a coup this could be.

 

Creative viewers of last season’s Freak Show may have actually been able to predict this casting scoop. In the Oct. 29 episode, the camera noticeably focused on a paper coffee cup with a large top-hat logo. Murphy told EW back in October, “That is a big season 5 clue! It’s an arcane clue, but it’s very purposeful, and it illuminates something that you’ll be like, ‘Oh! You dirty bastard!’”

 

EW can now confirm that the image was directing viewers not only to the theme (the classic 1935 film Top Hat is set in a hotel) but also to Gaga (the song “Cheek to Cheek” was written originally for Top Hatand is the title of Gaga’s current duets album with Tony Bennett). Details are scarce as to who—or what—Gaga will be playing at this hotel, but we’re guessing it will be even scarier than the hot tub at your local Holiday Inn.

i think she named it Paradise because the album is filled with what she perceives Paradise to be (Ride - the open road; American - america; Cola - sex and drugs; Body Electric - American iconography; Blue Velvet - ??? idrk with this one; Gods & Monsters - sex and drugs again; Yayo - sex, drgus & America; Bel Air - being free). i do hope that Honeymoon has a title track on it, but I also want her to "fit" the album's tracks to the themes and ideas the word connotes
