I could get behind that title.
lol the brazilian fan said nothing related to that.
this thread is sorta depressing :sadcore666:

Why are we talking bout obvs fake stuff instead of having a meltdown over that instagram clip (okay it could be someone else but it's the first thing we had in months)
Slay me Lana Del Iamamiwhoami
-
not sure if it's legit
I think the date of the direct message is always centered no matter the lenght of the message so idk
-
Sound more like Nate Ruess' voice than The Weekend's plus he posted a photo with some members of fun. recently
Sorry for crushing y'all's dreams.

That popjustice report sounds nothing like Lana. Trap???? whos expecting that at any point???? no one.
I think people are focusing way too much on the 'trap' comment. If it's Lana, it's probably a joke on people expecting her to go all electronic after the success of the SS remix/or her music being too slow and people wanting her to change. I really can't think of anyone else who's releasing soon that fits that review - Lykke Li said her album is more of a stripped back effort and the "darker, continuation of the previous album" wouldn't fit Sia since We Are Born was a light, poppy album.

Wait. I legitimately didn't know there was an ottr video until now. Did she upload it or something? It just seems soo fanmade.
She uploaded it on the day the song was released as a promo single, posted "haha just fucking around <3 and then deleted it after a day or two.

When? She wasn't even in Brazil lately?
He met her in LA
Plus he didn't specify if he listened to a song from Ultraviolence or not - just that she "showed" him a song from it.
-
Video Games at NPR World Café / Jools Holland
That reminds me -
Probably one of her strongest live performances
-
I used to listen to this every day at the end of 2011 ~~
Burning Desire is a bit too monotone in its studio form and I love how she changes it in live performances:
Plus a lot more I don't remember rn -

"Ah he's/Harvey's in the sky with diamonds and he's making me crazy" probably a spin on Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
-
Ultraviolence is the Kettle sound effect on loop for 60 min tbh.
How dare you insult @@Auto-Tuned Loon like that
-
Eh. Same problem I have with the Blue Velvet cover - it's too monotone and downplays the emotion of the lyrics. It's nice though.

Do they actually air the main show on their site? I thought it was just backstage stuff like the VMAs.
-
Well, we still have the teaser saying something special will appear during Grammy time. If it's not anything related to the song, then...

You know I wouldn't think a movie like Maleficent would be a top pick for next year's awards season, but I want her to have another shot at the Oscars...Prob not.
Anyway it won't be eligible 'cause it's not an original song
-
That movie looks horrible and that's a weird song choice.
#debbiedowner
But at least it's something new.

I voted for entry 5, but I wish nº1 was getting some love too - that was my second fav.
I'm gonna try to enter the next round if I don't die of self embarrassment before I finish recording.

Ummmm they removed "high heels on" but maintained "I know if I go..."? Wearing high heels is bad but romanticizing sadness and suicide is ok? In fact the main subject of the song is not suitable for kids at all so why did they cover it? This whole situation is mind boggling.

They are new though...
