  1. I hate to say this but I fear that Taylor will submit their collab for best pop duo. I’m not sure if they have a chance at winning but if they do I’d be upset that it would be her first grammy.
  2. God this era had so much potential to be her best since LFL with the material she’s given us in terms of the album, but it’s DRIED TF UP. How can she galavant and just chill out with not wanting to promote this masterpiece Also, i’m shocked that NOTHING has leaked so far…
  3. Not sure if anybody said it but i’m 100% sure that Taco Truck will sample VB the way Wild at Heart sampled How to Disappear, unless it’s a little more considering “x VB” is in the title haha
  4. DYK being my 11th most played song of ALL TIME… she’s coming to break top 5 and most likely number one by the end of the new year
  5. This man has three albums about him… He did her dirty in some way shape or form omg
  6. i understand the uncertainty regarding the sermon interlude. i also can understand Lanas POV with wanting to incorporate her faith into a work of art. for all we know, faith could’ve been what brought her back from a catastrophic period of her life. she’s been open with her alcoholism and mental health issues, her faith could have been the one piece of life that she found strong to hold onto. religions have so many controversial views and beliefs that comes with so much judgement and agony. but with Lana, we know her music is her DIARY. it’s our decision to tune into it or not based on personal religious/non religious views.
  7. at the 1:30 mark of tunnel under ocean blvd there’s that signature noise from the BTD that sounds soo good, it feels nostalgic
  8. Lana is trying to proclaim more of her title as one of the greatest singer-songwriters of our generation. she’s working towards a life of subtlety and home grown love. a quiet life that can be linked to soft, ambient, acoustic sounds for her music. i don’t think she will ever go back to a massive production a la BTD/UV/HM/LFL. from here on out it’s going to get a lot more intimate with producers and she’s going to aim for CLASSIC sounds, ones that you discover at a record store in 30 years and view in the same vein of joni mitchell and others. i believe that after NFR and the acclaim she got, she felt fulfilled FINALLY after always searching for the right sound. now, she’s comfortable in this style of music/creating.
  9. i have to say that i do feel as though this is the sister album to Blue Banisters. it almost feels like the RE-UP. more loud, more time, more contemplative in terms of direction. more creative inspiration with the aesthetic. the past two albums were quickly thrown at us and so many things were known before them. so many clues and hints of what was to come. this album is so NEW. the title was something i would have never imagined. it paints one of the most beautiful scenes in my head of sailing the sea with a lover. it’s sounds like the end credits to a feud of lovers where they have to let their love rest. i find this song to be so much more powerful than most of her work from BB and COCC. and i stan those!
  10. is the appropriate short name for the album “ocean boulevard” ?
  11. the title is literally so Lana. i wouldn’t have expected anything less than this. it’s lovely!
  12. BOZ said top 3 in her discography? what’s his usually taste like? i know he hates COCC and BB…
  13. i just came across two audio snippets on twitter of supposed songs from the album. i’ve never heard of them before
  14. if the album le*ks would you all hear it as it does or wait this time around during release? personally i think i will wait. the leaks have ruined the excitement of the drop and i want to hear it in full glam.
  15. This woman has released an album EVERY single year of my college experience and they’ve all been tied to primitive relationships as well ITS SENIOR YEAR AND SHES COMING TO WRAP THIS ERA OF MY LIFE UP I CANT. It feels HUGE in some way, locals are foaming at the mouth too…
  16. I did this today for her (supposed) OKC show and it got cancelled but she was in Dallas, where I currently live, and I wasn’t here fuck that!

    Taylor Swift

I really would love for her to let Midnights live in it's own era without being disrupted by a new TV album. I understand she may be on crunch time considering that a tour is most definitely coming and she wants to perform all of her discography, but Midnights proves to be a special album with it's massive success and she should focus on that. With COVID restricting artists tour timelines, I fear that we're not going to get much of Folklore and ESPECIALLY not Evermore.
  18. I would love for Lana to experiment with this sound omg. Just a whole ass orgasmic rock sound. No fucks given for the GP, critics, locals, etc. Yelling, experimental, and LOUD and HORNY. There's an artist named Snail Mail who's described her song making process as fully writing and conducting with her band before ever going to a studio. After playing her first album live multiple times, she finally decided to take it to the studio and it was amazing. LDR9 PLEASE have some guitars.
  19. My general assumption is that the book is completely lost because it was never backed up, but that the songs she had are saved somewhere else, but wiped out from the computer. I assume the songs are in other places too considering producers and other close people involved. But also, I’m not too afraid that we lost a whole album. Considering Ben has been promoting the idea of one not too long ago and this incident happened months ago. I also am surprised Lana barely told us about this big of an incident. She did mention safety and precaution, but I would think she would have made a warning post or post short after the incident where she expresses her anger/sadness. I bet she felt terrible that SOTB leaked and feels partially guilty, even if it wasn’t on HER computer, that the leak curse has followed Taylor herself.
  20. no you’re like absolutely right… there’s something super super big around the corner. this era feels similar to norman where lana was everywhere in the media. many people who used to hate lana, that i know of, acknowledge her impact in the industry and recognize her as one of the greats for the alt genre. if lana were to drop an album right now she would go #1 easily. dealer, watercolor eyes, brooklyn baby, and the mass success on tiktok is very helpful. i have butterflies and goosebumps about what we’re in for.
  21. i know that every three albums or so that we get an entire new soundscape, but personally i don’t think she’s going to stray too far from what we’ve gotten in NFR, COCC, and BB… especially if she’s working w the same producers
