    mine is that I don't get the hype for Gone, I dont think its bad, but i think its very mid in her discography. I also don't people who say its one of her best videos.

     

    true romance is a good album, very of its time and quirky (and distinctly charli) but not her best album. 

     

    also i stand by my belief that taking 1999, bioyl and white mercedes off of self-titled makes it a much better album

    as much as i hate to contribute to this era's sellout discourse... why are people mad that a singer wants to make fun pop music instead of doing what they've been doing for the past 5 years?

    between all the upcoming festival dates and her saying she's not lying, i fear that she may actually be coming... if there's not at least a single out by the end of march i know this thread will become a bloodbath

    i'm kind of excited for the next album since catch me in the air and missing summers both seem to have the same early 2000s breezy pop rock sound (and subpar lyricism...but we're going to ignore that :ma: )

    the way that treacherous and the last time kind of sound better than the originals but she completely butchered i knew you were trouble and we are never ever getting back together??? regardless, i think the vault tracks were cute - you can definitely tell she was trying new things writing and production-wise at the time
