The album was officially called "XCX" in 2016. She had a huge rollout planned for it with an entire XCX universe and a brand. It was some hyperreal Paris Hilton type of shit. It was supposed to be out May 2017. Atlantic had huge promo slots and online campaigns made. "After parties" with fans. She had some ARTPOP app type of tech ideas. XCX calculators, Pet Boyfriend app that was like Tamagotchi.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOO much more stuff. It was a very ambitious and huge project that was unfortunately scrapped.

I remember reading something similar to this on ATRL in like fall of 2016. The person stating this had even mentioned a Ty Dolla $ign feature (this was pre-ATAP, so I suppose that was when that feature was still being sorted out?) and was talking about a lot of concept stuff similar to this. I have some screenshots on my old laptop, I wonder if I could find them. What a shame it never came to fruition. :(

For some reason there’s a bunch of snippets put together here lol. But there’s a few that sound new. Granted, a majority of them could be stem edits.

sabotage happens a lot in the industry, and the material was STELLAR, they didn’t want her to be a star or probably she didn’t wanted to follor their agenda

Meh, that's not always the case. I'm sure ATAP being the opposite of a smash and the Bounce performance on Kimmel led to several shelvings and frustrations, which probably led them to putting Charli back in the studio to work on more material. I highly, highly, highly doubt that her very own record label would actively prevent her from "becoming a star," simply because that would just cost them in the end. I'm sure that you're right about Charli not following their agenda in a sense, perhaps more-so in the vein of not being able to come to agreements with the label. Regardless of the case, XCX3 getting shelved was what ultimately gave us N1A/Pop 2, so there's a silver lining.

Since the pre-order is up on iTunes, didn't anyone already manage to extract the credits too? I'm beyond sure that this happens for every pre-release.

Producers are unconfirmed (we can assume Rick did Yosemite, Jack did the rest) but all songs are written by Lana and Jack except for BSU (Nikki and Lana), Yosemite (Rick and Lana), and For Free (Joni Mitchell).

I was in my room getting ready for work, then I received the notification that Lana had just posted the snippet on insta then I quickly logged into LanaBoards to witness the fire.

Where were you when you first head about Lana?

    Ooh I like this one.

I had just gotten home from a day of school in January 2012. I was a big fan of Marina & the Diamonds at the time and I was streaming The Family Jewels on Spotify. I had the free version and so it would play albums in a "radio" style. Well, after a few Marina songs, Video Games started playing and after the first chorus I was like "I have to know who this is" and I clicked on Born to Die and went and immediately bought it on iTunes so I could listen uninterrupted and fell in love with Lana. I guess the rest is history.

Where were you when you first heard a Lana song in public/on the radio?
