    It was put on the iTunes preorder from what I remember and also on the promo cd she sold on tour with the singles

     

    it always felt way more punk and I remember reading somewhere at the time that the label wanted her face on the cover for recognition but it was years ago so I can’t fact check unfortunately

    What’s your favorite and least favorite Charli cover art out of all her album/mixtape releases?

     

    my favorite is Pop 2 because of how simple and perfect it works with the sound of the album

     

    my least favorite is Charli mainly because the gray shadows as the background paired with the text on the side makes it unpleasant to look at

    It has been 442 days since Crash released and the longest drought we’ve ever had of new output from Charli as a solo artist (not including soundtrack and feature releases)

     

    no new singles/droplets or album/mixtapes

    The first two are clear filler, they feel a bit sloppy/generic compared to other tracks, and they lack personality/energy. Red Balloon is whatever—it feels a bit demo-y and not like it necessarily belongs on an album like SUCKER. There were other, far better options for the tracklist i.e. Save You, Bel Air, Not In Love, Japan, I Wanna Be Like You, Light It Up, etc.


    I agree with the exception of Caught in the Middle (I’d replace that third one with Famous as I’ve already made known).

     

    but I do understand why some would see Caught in the Middle as weak. I’ve always thought of that track and Need Ur Luv to be sister tracks that kind of have the same vibe, but Need Ur Luv is much superior leaving Caught in the Middle to be forgotten when compared.

    I don’t know how you can be a Sky fan and not like her tbh, she also has a little Amy Winehouse in her voice which is really cool. A potential mother!
