    I haven’t seen anyone mention this but Charli addressed the Ava Max comments and clarified that Ava declined because she was in a relationship at the time and didn’t connect with the subject matter of the song.

    Some other things she answered:

     

    the 1975 asked her to open for them on tour and she said no (she also doesn’t want to tour rn in her current headspace)

     

    Going to Stockholm in June to work with Robyn in the studio to try different ideas and see if anything sticks

    I just learned there is a subreddit dedicated to posting updates from the account

     

    her latest story 3 days ago talks about how she’s just recording in the studio atm but the end of it was interesting with her talking about covering new subject matter in her songs and being very inspired

     

    even tho there’s no album I’m hopeful this can turn into a mixtape/spontaneous release eventually (and hopefully soon)

    If I can give any advice to anyone traveling to one of these shows: please plan your trip around experiencing a new place/city and do not rely on this concert to be your main purpose (mentally)

     

    I travelled to pitchfork fest just to see Sky and if I didn’t also happen to see Charli while I was there I would have been so depressed after the mess of that set

    I’m specifically talking about the toxic group of people on twitter that have verbally harassed and bullied Charli directly as possibly reacting in a similar manner


    however, “reactions have only been positive” is 100% false as proven by posts you can read here lol

     

    not saying LB can’t be toxic at some times either, but at least there’s no direct communication to Charli here and the super crazy stuff is generally addressed by mods in the moment

    It would have been nicer if she just went through her follow requests and started approving them in batches…..I’m definitely upset about not being a part of it as a huge fan and I don’t want her to stress but I can see fan backlash (toxic twitter mostly) causing her to get upset and scrap the private account idea or make a statement at some point in the future
