This line up is so good. Sky, Clams Casino, Abra….I wished I lived in NYC because this is gonna be a vibe.

They are good songs but they aren’t representative as her solo bodies of work (maybe welcome to my island but it’s still not entirely her’s) it’s hard for me to get excited about those songs because once their release window is over, she never acknowledges them again. i really loved Hot Girl but she never performs it and it’s paid dust. as for official single releases, at least she promotes and performs those.

I kind of agree about TR. I like it a lot more because of the nostalgia factor but the text placement with the main image looks too off for me and the font itself is a bit tumblr era dated (the main image obviously also is a bit dated with the tumblr-centric effects but it still works for me because it actually matches the music more than just a cash grab graphic slapped onto something generic like others of that time)

You might be right but the fact remains that this promo image looked 100x better than the official imo

It was put on the iTunes preorder from what I remember and also on the promo cd she sold on tour with the singles it always felt way more punk and I remember reading somewhere at the time that the label wanted her face on the cover for recognition but it was years ago so I can’t fact check unfortunately

I loved the original cover before the album changed with the label interference

What’s your favorite and least favorite Charli cover art out of all her album/mixtape releases? my favorite is Pop 2 because of how simple and perfect it works with the sound of the album my least favorite is Charli mainly because the gray shadows as the background paired with the text on the side makes it unpleasant to look at

Hot take but there hasn’t been a decent leak since the HIFN outtakes 😔 I know some of you are ride or die for those crash outtakes but they just sound so basic and unpolished compared to her old leaked content

I agree with the exception of Caught in the Middle (I’d replace that third one with Famous as I’ve already made known). but I do understand why some would see Caught in the Middle as weak. I’ve always thought of that track and Need Ur Luv to be sister tracks that kind of have the same vibe, but Need Ur Luv is much superior leaving Caught in the Middle to be forgotten when compared.

Famous is one of the 3 worst songs on Sucker but idk if y’all are ready for that truth

The real question is do we think Speed Drive will be representative of the sound of the new album or something that stands on its own? kind of like how Miss U was basically a Charli outtake

Tbh I thought how I’m feeling now was dumb when the fake press release “leaked” but it worked for me when it came out

Also I really have been into 360 Brat as an album name and it would be iconic if she kept with the name and theme this whole time With a new sound and that name, maybe we could be looking at something as boundary pushing and different as Pop 2 was a concept
