she's teasing the deluxe in her latest insta post i'm really hyped that we're getting more songs and not some random remixes

I really don't like some debates you guys make in this thread, but since this one was going well, i'm here to defend Charli! I don't think is a bad or weak album, but it's a really messy one inside her discography. The fact that it came out right after she made such career highlights (N1A and Pop2) puts the album against the wall too, but i do think that Charli is a consistent and genuine mess lol To me, the biggest problem is the tracklist + the inconsistent tone in the sound. There's songs going to the general mainstream pop sound (and they are great) but they don't fit so well into the experiment, noisy and ''for fans'' stuff that is also in the album. And since the tracklist is a mess, we go up and down MANY TIMES and can't focus on one thing when we listen. But STILL.. It's a good album, and for me is a album for parties. Charli came out when i was blasting in inumerous parties and clubs, and in Brazil we have some parties that are focused on Charli, hyperpop, PC Music stuff and everything related to the genre/scene. I can't count how many times i listened to the album in clubs and this is what made he so special to me. he deserves more love and besides, we can always make our own tracklists and songs choice to make an album more consistent, my self titled for example has the EASYFUN Remix of 1999 and Dylan Brady's Blame It that are more coherent to the experimental and noisy side of Charli

the producers in the room right after Charli wrote "Do you realize I could've been the one to change your life? You could've had a bad girl by your side''

i don't see it as a negative remark about the album, but i see that some angels didn't catch the vibe. this sounds more like the ultrapop sound she wants to go rather than some generic pop sound she would do it's not like we listen to an eurodance song like Beg For You being shaped into the mainstream radar everyday, it's really unique and a big Charli-thing to do
-
with that being said... perhaps she's the perfect song for this era
-
i'm kinda shocked to see that some of you don't like Beg For You lol it was the only song that i heard when i was outside of the forum that i expected you all to love it, especially for the sample and the Rina vocals
-
Lightning is the reason why we need more Charli x Ariel Rechtshaid tracks when this duo is together, nothing is better
-
i decided to take a break from the forum so i missed ALL the album rollout and the releases of the singles, but i'm happy to comeback with the album illegal arrival don't wanna keep it on repeat until the offical release but it's such a GOOD album and a formidable goodbye from Atlantic, i wish nothing but the best for Charli it's so solid, so bright, so beautiful and full of some of her best songs until this day besides Baby and Good For You that i love for life, my heart is with Constant Repeat, Lightning and Used to Know Me, but every song it's great and it's meant to be on the album, the tracklist is her most well adjusted!! really curious to hear the deluxe tracks and see how it fits ALSO............. Twice is her most cute song forever, what a great ending
-
I've spent my whole day like this with New Shapes in the background WHAT YOU WANT I AIN'T GOT IT
-
i love how Charli KNOWS how to make teams that would flow with her songs the cultural reset that is Charli x Kim x Tommy / Charli x Caroline x Chris / Charli x Brooke x Cupcakke x Pabllo (and Big Freedia as a plus)
-
the chorus is kinda weird in the first listen, but once you get used to it..... IT SLAYS i loved it, Caroline and Chris really added up to the song and this is literally the Janet inspired sound i was expecting from her
-
September will come and we'll be getting the first single of a new album, a new collab with A G for 911 remix and the Good Ones MV we were so used to giving, now we'll get to receive

-
hello, could you please reupload? i lost the drop day and the file is expired
-
i'm LIVING for this MV Love Again is my fave since day one of FN
-
the new mix on Over This is actually so good i love the version that leaked but it was much more noisy, this one is more clean and we can actually hear her voice btw i'm still hyped to listen the full album in final mix, but i'm really happy with Over This since is my favorite i live for pop girls bringing the pop punk back
-
so she's about to release the Song of The Year i can't wait
-
i really don't understand why people want Dua to move on from FN so soon. the girl didn't even made the tour of this album yet lol and i remember Eclipse saying she spent years recording songs to slowly release them, so i do think that we'll be seeing Dua release a couple more songs of the project to be pretty honest, i like all the demos that leaked but maybe the only ones that i see being really interesting to have a release are Firestarter (2000's Pop sound at best), 25/8 (this i kinda Daft Punkish and i'm here for it), Love is Religion (her own Like a Prayer) and All to Myself (i love cute fun songs and this one is amazing)
-
ok Dua Lipa, now release Firestarter
-
her Q&As is always the best she also confirmed Spinning to be an solo collab, with no supergroup coming, but said she talked with Matty about a whole project between her and 1975
