  1. Interesting considering they also gave 4/5 stars to BTD (an album fans love to bash, especially during this era). So both BTD and NFR received the SAME ratings from the SAME publication AND the same journalist is responsible for rating BOTH of these albums equally. Very interesting compared to the 3.5/5 they gave UV & the 3/5 for HM.
  2. Yep. UV and HM are being used as ammo to try build NFR up at the moment. If a subdued song is what u wanted, why did u hope for it to turn into the opposite.
  3. I said Lana did not start recycling sounds until LFL era.
  4. I suspect to see this occur quite a lot over the next few months. This is how LFL went down.
  5. Lana did not start recycling sounds until LFL, with Cherry being the BTD reject of that era.
  6. Posted by HeartbreakHotel in New Releases 2 days and 23 hours for Jack Strogonoff and Lasagna Del Rey's magnum opus
  7. Cinnamon Girl is a BTD reject with stale lyrics derived from Is This Happiness and Sad Girl.
  8. Here we go. The novelty is slowly diminishing. Just like it did for LFL. U called it her magnum opus just a couple days ago.
  9. U saying that when Jared posts solely to trash fans of BTD, UV and HM on the daily
  10. Aren't u the person who said that we shouldn't talk about Lana's substance usage despite her being very open about it in interviews + her art (even her recent song, FIILY), simply because there's "young children" on here? When they actually just shouldn't be listening to Lana's music period? Combative is that Jared person who constantly undermines fans of every other Lana album aside from the current one at the given time
  11. Don't forget to continue valuing critics opinions despite the fact that LFL remains her second highest rated album on Metacritic, one point from Honeymoon.
  12. U place faith in critics when Lust for Life is her second highest rated album on Metacritic, a point away from Honeymoon. U are something else indeed, Schoolboy Q stan.
  13. Her voice on the title track in general is very nice, warm and engaging. I like the little nuances throughout it.
  14. It's been deleted. The version Lana chose to add drums to is far superior, and I'm glad she chose to release it that way.
  15. U constantly coming after BTD before NFR leaked only to find out Cinnamon Girl, much like Cherry, is a BTD reject, not to mention the random Serial Killer flashback. Never happened on UV and HM. Not once.
  16. "Lana has been repressed by her label and some of the songs show that, but omg, this is her magnum opus." It makes no sense.
  17. No, she wouldn't be, considering Lana was trashed by critics for even adopting the LDR persona in the first place. Thankfully, she stuck to her guns.
  18. Say this after u learn how to spell hypothetically instead of getting it wrong three times in a row now. Take that Schoolboy Q avatar down before u come for superior albums.
  19. Critics like Richard Goldstein hated Sgt. Peppers, among other Beatles projects. They simply do not matter. Period.
  20. If Lana truly cared about sales she would not make (terrific) albums like Honeymoon.
  21. I disapprove of Lana's hypocrisy. Not her artistic integrity/freedom, which is for some reason being questioned and she is now being portrayed by a label puppet by her own fans.
  22. But she has said that about radio mixes before, such as WC. She was not satisfied with it. There is no reason for her to suddenly remain tight lipped regarding label affairs now. You guys love to discredit her at any chance u get. There is no proof of that, so your comment is simply irrelevant until further notice. If she hates Doin' Time so much she wouldn't sing it live. She has the choice not to. She barely performed HM and LFL live despite being brand new albums so don't say she was forced to perform Doin' Time either. UV also barely got live spins for Endless Summer either.
  23. The fact that they have to use a bonus track to discredit UV is just amusing, especially when a lot of songs on NFR follow the same boring formula as that UV reject. We stay using standard tracks from LFL and NFR. Ugh, the validity of our opinions.
  24. Lana herself said that she wanted surf drums in Fuck It I Love You. Thankfully, she established this loud and clear a few days ago before the radio premiere of the song. A great decision by Ms. Del Rey, and did not go unnoticed.
