  1. Using a bonus track, u tried. Coachella is on the standard, and Norman’s Demos have 10 GNRs.
  2. I beg to differ. I still stream BTD, Paradise, UV & HM daily.
  3. Lana said this record has “Laurel Canyon” sounds. Guy seems to be a resident of Laurel Canyon which is mentioned in Bartender (referring to Joni Mitchell’s “Ladies Of The Canyon”) and Canyon could be a play on “can ya” for can ya know it all.
  4. The album version of Fuck It I Love You is terrible lmao. Did Andrew Watt & Louis Bell work on just the single version?
  5. Ugh glad her two best albums don’t have a Coachella on them, let alone sound like Norman’s Demos
  6. Your (now second) favorite record is Lust For Life, your opinion doesn't count
  7. The Greatest is funny because throughout her career she has made it a point that she thinks so highly of the Beach Boys despite Mike Love being a Trump supporter but then decides to highlight only Kanye's politics in the same song. If she's going to go out of her way to prioritize other people's politics so much perhaps she should start taking a hard look at all her long term idols rather than selectively romanticizing them over others
  8. Heroin is, by large, a cringefest. She sounds like a dying bird cawing on that bridge. "I'll retire Cola because I mention Harvey Weinstein's first name but here's an edgelord song namedropping the Manson family murders" Anyway this is the NFR thread. I'm interested to hear the album in good quality in a few days. Hoping that'll help some songs stand out more. I'm still coming back to the video for Fuck It I Love You, love those surfing scenes. Beautiful, natural and emotional. One of her best videos. Great visuals without her trying to prove anything.
  9. The video for Fuck It I Love You is gorgeous. Made me feel things. Love the ocean scenes. Reminded me of Don't Make Waves with Sharon Tate & Dave Draper mixed with the video for Road Trippin' by RHCP
  10. But in the Ride monologue she literally says "when the people I used to know found out how I had been living they asked me why" which means that she/the character CHOSE to live a more vagabond lifestyle just like many people choose to do, so how is that an issue anyways
  11. We been knew BAR is a monotonous coma-inducing song, original or not Eject & insert Your Girl
  12. DDDead Norman's Demos is nothing in comparison to Honeymoon!
  13. Depends which act you're talking about! So it isn't all linear! Anyway, we must move on! I'm excited to hear Fuck It I Love You in GOOD quality this week! It may not be her best album, but it is solid. The video for The Greatest looks beautiful too! Love her makeup and the nods at Video Games lyrics and how it mirrors Ride in the clip we saw!
  14. Why would I be talking about groups who don't tour anymore? They are not relevant in a conversation about older bands touring. This conversation is regarding ageing bands, AKA those who DO still tour! With Iggy & The Stooges, they performed a lot from 2003 - 2008, ESPECIALLY the Weirdness tour (huge tour for them!!!) but a lot was put to a halt once Ron died! Not exactly comparable to Lana's situation, really!
  15. Yes absolutely necessarily, it is known! I will use Stevie as the example! Fleetwood Mac PRIME: Fleetwood Mac - 128 Rumours - 96 Mirage - 31 Tusk - 112 Heroes Are Hard To Find - 43 Total = 410 shows in approx 2 decades! Shake The Cage - 69 (this one can go either way! It was their first without Lindsey though which is a big milestone! If we add it to PRIME, it is still only 479 dates!) Fleetwood Mac PAST PRIME: Say You Will - 137 An Evening With Fleetwood Mac - 87 Fleetwood Mac Live - 66 On With The Show - 120 Unleashed - 81 Total = 491 shows since 2003! This applies to MANY ageing bands! This is not counting Stevie solo, of course!
  16. Most older rockstars nowadays are touring far more than they ever did in their primes
  17. Stevie Nicks: *is 71* Del Rey added: “Stevie's one of the few people I know that says the muse is the most important thing to her. More than anything else, her priority is just following the muse wherever it takes her, whether it’s a 60-date tour or new record or solo endeavour. So she’s inspirational like that.” Lana LOVES that Stevie is still touring! I recall her seeing Carole King, who is in her late 70s, in 2015-2016 also! LOVE IT!!!
  18. Most of the BTD tour dates were performed after the album was released Paradise was primarily to support the Paradise edition of BTD, which is not an EP...and it still went for almost 2 years...pretty big tour...her biggest to date in fact in terms of number of dates
  19. BAR (original or not) is coma inducing
