everyone knew the album was scrapped in like august but i feel like this is the first time it's been addressed on a public scale no? she tweeted about how some songs leaked so she would be starting the album over but other than that she's been pretty hush about it. i don't really understand why she wouldn't release these songs, even for free, if she was happy with them though. i wish she had picked a few faves and released a free EP. the songs leaked anyways, and they're GOOD so it does make me sad to think about the fact that she won't be able to profit or benefit from them in any way, even if it's just some recognition that she's a pop legend who should be paid attention to

she seems much happier post album leak to be honest, i think she's been sitting on all this PC influenced music since 2015 with minimal opportunities to release it (obviously) and at this point she might be getting tired of it. i think the new xcx3 will probably be more minimal and tropical like boys and 1 night. it'll be interesting to see what direction her new stuff takes if she's ditching the PC music and has AG cook himself as her creative director this is my dream charli album i'm gonna cry !!! it's so tragic how long it took for me to realize blame it on you is such a fuckin slapper !!! i stan #party4u for this exact reason, it's such a moody autotuned masterpiece. i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally hope her cher cover leaks

i'm very satisfied with the PC bops we have received. if everything leaks (#party4u) i'll be fine if she's done with it, but i really want her to release another true romance album with like updated production and stuff. she's been using some true romance songs on her tour vids on instagram so i wonder if she's getting back into her old sound or if she can just recognize that 2012/2013 were the golden charli years

allegedly charli was going to wetransfer the exchange tracks to fckyeahcharli because she wasn't gonna release them and she wanted them to leak but then fckyeahcharli was all like hey u guys choli's going 2 send me songs 2 leak and then charli never ended up sending it. my theory is that's why fckyeahcharli is so opposed to leaks, because they're trying to kiss charli's ass now after they fucked her over. i have no idea if this is true or not that's just what i heard. if it is true then charli was smart enough to leak the tracks we'd been begging for so shit didn't get messy during the wait for the album that was going to be announced as delayed again.
