  1. That's what I've been saying about the MAC and VB covers, but people keep on hating them
  2. Noo don't say that ...eh it's probably true, which is sad. I'm hopeful too for some more guitars, the heck
  3. She was live on insta recently and somebody asked her about the vibe/sound of the album and she said: some deeply introspective, sad girl shit
  4. Yeah, I don't think this is her saddest thing either, but it is definetly really personal and real
  5. I hope there's more guitar involved in the album, so far only MAC and VB have it. Cinnamon is piano and then beats and synths, Sylvia is just piano, HTD is either just piano, or piano and beats and syths, HIAB is clearly gonna be just piano as well (we fucking heard almost 2 whole minutes of it and it was just piano). I mean, all these songs are great, but personally, I want more guitar pleeeeeasseeee. In your car seems to have some so I'm hopeful
  6. When she started singing the ''is a new revolution'' bit, I thought it was going full acapela for the bridge, that would've been so good
  7. Yeah, the cover is really bad and lazy...smh. For that great of a song to have that cover... I guess this applies for all the other songs and maybe it'll apply for the album itself. It's sad that she doesn't care about the visuals like she used to, but at the end of the day I don't really care when the music is so good.
  8. This song is the embodiment of her description of the album: deeply introspective sad girl shit
  9. Ok I listened to it finally and it is indeed really great. Like many people said, this is the Change we really deserved. The real piano ballad. The lyrics are amazing actually and the melody is unique and touching. Not to mention her voice is fucking bomb. Thank God for no filters. Her voice's so clear that it brings a lovely sense of intimacy to the song, which is awesome considering how personal it is to Lana
  10. I guess she's gonna talk about a lot of things tommorow on BBC1...can't wait to find out more about the album and the song
  11. Wow, ok now I'm genuinely excited!!! All the comments are saying it's a classic beautiful masterpiece and fuck I can't take it anymore. Coming back after I listen to it
  12. I haven't listened to the song yet, so the fact that it is indeed just a simple piano ballad kinda dissapointed me. However, y'all are saying her vocals and melody are really great and compensate for the lack of instrumentation so I'm gonna be positive about it. Still, I don't think it'll be in my favourites Also, the lyrics are...something else. They're really great in parts but they're also really tacky and weird, with all the ipad references and the: shaking my ass, black narcissist...It doesn't really go well together sometimes, but it's so fucking personal and direct
  13. I don't know what to expect. The fact that she said it's supposedly her saddest song ever and because we heard the snippets which had pretty much only piano, I'm inclined to believe it's just a piano ballad. However, Change is Lana's only piano ballad of her discography. Old money still has strings, Bel air still has tons of beautiful strings. Is this happiness has those beautiful violins or whatever. Change has just piano because, as somebody else already mentioned, it was too rushed. So, it's hard for me to believe Sylvia will be just a piano song, like Change. There are definetly other instruments and sounds involved, aka strings, synths, maybe even guitar or subtle drums, bigger drums, Idk. But it just can't be a plain piano ballad.
  14. Yes, Change is good. Just that. Not great, not amazing, but not bad either. Just good, and a song that is just good is a ''meh'' song, a song that you listen once or twice from time to time and that's it, because it has pretty much no replay value, it doesn't have great specific or unique elements (except for the melody of course), and it just becomes boring after 3-4 listens. And that's purely because it's just plain piano with nothing else
  15. Damn, I miss a few pages and now I'm back to the rainbow literally throwing up on all this thread. And then there's even drama about it? lmaooo =)))) Y'all are something else
  16. LMAO, it was just an example, some people honestly...
  17. Ok, you guys can stop coming with minor things Lana did that lean towards ''controversial''. None of these examples even compare to her mimicking Sylvia Plath's death. Say your mother died from suicide, through a horrible act, and then 10 years later you see a random musician recreating it, saying it's fascinating or a cool concept or whatever, how would you fucking feel. People quick to call everyone ''overly sensitive pussies'' when they are a bunch of insensitive shits. Shut the fuck up
  18. Lmao, that's the second time you do it, on purpose just to annoy her. That proves how lame and weak you actually are. Sit down
  19. I like the singles covers too. If her hair was let loose in the MAC cover, y'all would love it 10 times more. And the VB cover is perfect for the song, I like it more than the MAC cover. However, she should definetly up the quality for the album cover, imo.
  20. They were talking about a reference of NR in the visuals of the album, like the album cover
