Tame Impala
in Music
No I haven't heard that, thanks for the recommendationSort of related but have you heard of Melody's Echo Chamber's self titled album? It was produced by Kevin Parker and was released around the time of Lonerism too it definitely feels like a sister album to it!
And also I' m sorry for telling you to stop posting in the post-release thread that one time, I kinda felt bad about it since then, I think I just had a long day and got annoyed much easier than normal lol

Tame Impala
in Music
How the fuck have I never posted anything in this thread?? lmaoo. I really love Tame Impala. To me, their first 2 projects are the best ones, especially Lonerism, that record is just so incredible from start to end. I really enjoy Currents too though, so it might be actually tied with innerspeaker for me. In regards to this new record they're putting out, I just listened to the singles when they came out like once or twice. I'm just now getting more into them and I can say this album sounds pretty damn good so far. Posthumous Forgiveness is definetly my favourite one, the melody and production on this song is
From what I see above, the album is coming February 14th so I'm really excited about that. I'll be done with exams and I'll have something to lose myself into during vacation. Also I see Patience is not gonna be on the album? If it's true I actually don't have a problem cause it is my least favourite from what they've been putting out recently.
I really enjoyed this new track, I feel like it's kinda fast pace at first listen, sometimes I wish some grooves lasted longer but it's sounding great nonetheless. I love the melodies Kevin's been coming up with for this new album.

Imagine an album produced by David Kahne, Dan Auerbach and Kevin Parker
Yes she does!!! VB is exceptional and it's not even full-on psychedelicShe needs to do psychedelic rock and I don't care how. She just needs to.

I read Chuck instead of chalk and I died laughing for a bitRIGHT. Some good old fashioned objects + adjectives
Chalk Handprints Upon Smooth Stone
The Hands That Grew Higher
Gravity
The Eyes That Sold Shadows
Etc etc

I'd like you to say that again after re-reading the 125-60 spots
Omg...
I forgot about the absolute MESS the rest of the list was.
Nevermind

there is definitely some bias for NFR! due to its newness. California is a good song but it's so much weaker than every other song in the top 10
Exactly, SOC should've definetly had California's spot. The rest of the top 10...chef's kiss
Ugh, this fanbase has so much taste

Alright, the top 10 is still very good and my SOC wounds are half healed. Thanks Paradixo for making such a cool project and giving us some serious meltdowns at the beginning of the new decade lmao, this was pretty fun

And I Can't Do Nothing About This Strange Ranking...12. "Shades of Cool" (2014)Very similar in theme and sound to "Pretty When You Cry", the Ultraviolence centerpiece finds Lana Del Rey at her weakest and most vulnerable and unstable.11. "Cinnamon Girl" (2019)Despite being the most dramatic song on Norman Fucking Rockwell!, "Cinnamon Girl" features a more thoughtful, strong and down-to-earth Del Rey.EXCUSE MEEE??? THE MASTERPIECE, GROUNDBREAKING, HEAVENLY, INNOVATING, EXPLOSIVE, ORGASMIC, MOODY SOC IS NOT IN THE TOP 10???? And it's topped by fucking Cinnamon girl, a track that already aged like spoiled milk!!!!
No...This is canceled and the top 10 is not relevant anymore

First of all, Cassette girl and her grandparents
Also, Lana's misplaced years for fucking drama of the year LMAOOO
Second of all, HOLY SHITTT I made it to a Lipster of the year nomination
Also very glad I could make it back to 2 categories I was nominated in last year. Thank you guys for nominating me, y'all brightened my day.
Alright, I guess you guys can vote for me if you want lol

Venice Bitch will forever be my favorite from the record but the title track, fuck. I've been listening to it non-stop. The fact that it has that Disney-like intro and it's sonically so dreamy but the lyrics are sad af. Genius. And she sounds like she's singing in your ear, so beautiful and intimate. If she doesn't win AOTY at least she deserves song of the year for NFR.
This!!!
-
I think she just has it done and on the 4th is just gonna tweet that it's out and that's gonna be it
-
NFR, MAC, VB....This album opens up with such a fucking trinity of songs
Top 3 in my opinion. Hope, Love song and Bartender come close too
-
Where did Lana say she dropped her laptop with the NFR recordings?
A fake popcrave account on twitter posted fake news about it and people believed it for a second lmaoo

POETRY ALBUM IN 7 DAYS!!
HOLY SHIT you're right. Lmaooo I forgot it's coming so quickly. Definetly excited for such a new and different project for her
-
Can we all agree that Venice Bitch is the best sonically song and MAC the best lyrically song on the album?
And for all the Hope is a keyboardsmash lovers- This song is one of her best lyrically songs on the album too.period.

movebaby popping the FUCK off with the best analysis I've seen of this album sound-wise. Well done
(I waited to let you finish lol)

1. Ultraviolence
2. Honeymoon=Norman fucking Rockwell
3. AKA
I listen to the majority of the songs from these albums; these are the ones I basically care about.
4. Born to die
5. Paradise
6. Lust for life
I only listen to like 3-5 songs off these albums and I honestly don't really care about them.
