    Norman Fucking Rockwell is the best intro song to any of her albums. Born to Die is one of my favorite songs of her's and all of the other albums have pretty good intro songs, but nothing compares to NFR. 

     

    Strings come in, get you curious, then here comes a kind of cheery, pretty piano. Then finally, "God damn, man child..." And then you're kinda just sitting there giggling or at least smirking. Next comes, "You fucked me so good that I almost said 'I love you.'" DAAAAMNNN okay!

     

    The melodies are beautiful, the lyrics are funny, the piano is perfect for setting the mood. Definitely one of my new favorite songs of her. I'm still blown away.

    That livestream was so cool, hearing them talk so openly and lightly about the record and a part of the process behind it. She sang NFR beautifly (she didn't fully get the high notes the first time but she nailed them after, like woah  :legend: ) It was nice hearing the early verses of the song and I hope she keeps that melody in mind for WHF. I also hope she follows through her painted video idea for Love song, that would be lovely. Excited for the future intervies to come and the 20 minute video. Truly, an era  :woot:

    Drowned in sound counts.

     

    Also, excuse my last post, I don't know what memory I had in my head, Honeymoon's score was settled after 31 critics and LFL after 26 critics. I messed up :toofunny:

     

    So in that case, I'm guessing there are not that much reviews coming? Probably the ones you just mentioned and maybe 2 or 3 more


    Drowned in Sound hasn't reviewed since April.
