Really beautiful, I love the summery feel, and I can't wait to walk around Brooklyn listening to this song feeling super great and awesome and smile like a mad man, it's going to be great. I really love the lyrics too, they're spontaneous but not pretentious or too cinematic, it feels really autobiographical and personal which is super great, compared to the slight disconnect (not a bad thing) in Ultraviolence, where it sounds like she's telling a story, compared to actually feeling like you're in the song with her and how she's singing it. Would love to figure out the rest of the lyrics (I did a really rough version in the lyrics section.) The production is amazing too, the drums are great and fuck, the Dan Auerbach guitars are so god damn sexy, just like him. Also, Barrie at the end. So great and unexpected and it works so damn well.

If you think Lorde's music is similar to Lana's music in anyway, you're kind of really wrong. They sing about really different things, and Lorde's comment about Lana is viable and she even admitted multiple times that she enjoys Lana's music and visuals, even quoting her as a caption of an Instagram post or something like that. I don't think it's Lorde, and if it's her, then I think Lana's being extremely petty about it-- the only thing Lorde's said about Lana was the feminism thing.

Lyrics are a hit and miss (heh) sometimes, the "DN" line bugs me because it's just the least sexy nickname ever. "Yo, DN, get over here, open up a beer!" "Fuck me hard, DN!" I think it's a little muddy but that might be because of the Vevo quality, I love the vocal production, love the bridge, wish it had more time to breathe in between each verse/chorus/section. Besides that, I'm lovin it.
