    Oh my god, I never understood but now I came to a realisation.

     

    She had to release the radioactive chernobyl toxic garbage mess that is ATAP, putting an end to the brief forward-thinking showstopping latex fetish SOPHIE metal clang reign, because there was a truly noble reason underneath. Going that way, on the 2nd year anniversary of the landing of that atomic bomb upon us, we could get Taxi at last.

    About the old tracks getting an official release, I think we are not considering one parameter. Out of them all, Bounce was the most played live, followed by GNO, then No Angel. Others are not even close. Two of them already got a proper release (the 3 of them were mentioned by Charli on that tweet of songs still very much alive etc). Putting this puzzle together really makes me think Bounce will indeed get released as a bside of one of the following drops, while Taxi, R&R and others are really dead at this point, so it's better if they leak so she's freed from this karma and everyone can move on. Future will be brighter when all the unreleased-and-not-intended-for-release is finally out, no matter how.

    we can be mad at both, I mean, asking for more songs after Taxi leaked (a song that we've been ages asking for) and after 57 songs leaked last month is greedy and selfish, and I understand the hype over the ones that remain unleaked, and I want them as well (I think we all do), but we should stop demanding songs so quickly and start to enjoy what we have (which is more than what we deserve). That's that on that.

     

    Posting "leak rnr" or "hope rnr is next" isn't a demand, it's just a bunch of fans getting hyped that we are closer than ever to end that 2016 chapter. All I see as greedy and selfish is that teasing over discord every now and then.

    You guys REALLY shouldn't be mad at the fans that are asking for songs, instead you should be mad at the ones hoarding, playing discord snippets, making a fuss about tracks they shouldn't have in first place. These people are the real problem, not us. They are stealers, using her work for promotion and teasing fans. You can't blame us for wanting to end that expectation that they created on purpose, but you can indeed blame them for using her body of work as a diamond ring on the internet.  :flutter: 

     

    anyway, waiting for the leak of R&R corpse so we can bury it as it deserves::::::::::: on a house party  :sluttybunny:

    i was so afraid it would be slowed down with simplier instrumental, but it is really good, thank god and @@diplo for giving us THE REAL AUGUST DROP

    Yeah she only started the drops in May, and has only missed August (with 1999 presumably being September's) and I wouldn't consider them throw away tracks, 5ITM was on trend, Focus was great and NA and GNO were songs fans had begged for.

     

    Sucker and True Romance did show that she hates sitting on music, correct. But, it also gave us what people here seem to want, singles, music videos, live performances and promo.

     

    Maybe I phrased myself incorrectly, but in her latest interviews she shows no care about her voice (and PC / autotuned effects are only gonna get her so far) - and prior to that she's shown no interest in releasing an album. Even saying she doesn't think albums are for her.

     

    And I agree that projects like Pop 2 and singles like GNO were dropped because she wanted to release them, but there is constant demand from her fans. She's even been getting grief for missing the August drop.

     

    My original point was that I personally think she should take a break and refresh her sound / image. Allow fans to have a break and enjoy the music she's released (eventually they might stop begging for Taxi). And they're more likely to appreciate the new material she releases, rather than be like "oh okay, what's next?".

     

    Fans will only let her rest once those songs are released OR leaked, period.
