Maybe they’ll give us a POP 2 esque banger like I Like America... or an electro pop track like What Should I Say? or a nice little bop like Warm or TOOTIME... there are many routes in their wheelhouses they could go!

When Charli comes in on Cool 3D World.....
-
Ohhh I hope you are right!!

Very few things in this world make me happy like the the hook on Bounce does. Why the erasure?? Also some re-upped footage of Charli and SOPHIE from SXSW has been making its way online recently and YouTube singled out and blocked the Round & Round audio wtffff

Imagine seeing Charles and the iconique dip dyed bob in one of these Super Bowl commercials

Charli the best y’all...

Recording a 190 BPM punk song while wearing my Planet XCX hoodie... now THAT is 21st century rock and roll y’all.

that’s a vibe yes I think for me, all those SOPHIE x Charli collabs were really, like ultimate pop escapism. It was like pop music for electro clubs, but whatever planet you were on, there hearing and dancing to those songs, they were the songs soundtracking this sort of immaculate, cosmic utopian idea lol. In my mind, Charli and SOPHIE were a space-age duo. Even through some of the more unsettling, extreme industrial sounds that SOPHIE would create, it was in such a “ying and a yang” type of balance with the hyper glossy, bubblegum feeling, it really just got all the gears in my head turning. Imagination running wild. It felt otherworldly...

“BOYYY, you got me FREAKING OUT, you got me spinnin ROUND toniiiight...”

"I'm lying in my bed and I can't get you off my mind... can you hear me? ...I've just got to tell you..." See that? That's taste right there...

You don’t even realize how much I was looking forward to hearing that record... Been thinking about this too.

It’s definitely setting in harder over time than just reading that she had passed away... I was in completely shock and disbelief when I saw the news, “it can’t be, there’s no way”... but the music is hitting so differently now, it’s truly transcendental stuff and knowing she’s passed on... it’s truly wild. So sad. So much potential. So much more to give to the world.

This just... hurts to read... Things like that aren’t supposed to happen. Makes all of this even worse.

“Tonight, we’re in paradise, soaring through the sky, seeing pink and white...”

I just want to say my piece in knowing that SOPHIE was very important to Charli’s progression as an artist, I hope Charli is able to find strength through all of this and continue to reach new heights and bear the torch for SOPHIE... along with her fellow peers and collaborators, A.G. and the like... and continue to popularize other unique and groundbreaking artists. It’s what makes Charli so great, and I only hope the impact that we’ve all felt as a result, can reach an even wider audience. I’m sure not all of us can or are able to fully relate to the entirety of what that “impact” is, as I have never experienced what it’s like to be a person in the LGBTQ+ community, but the excitement of hearing and experiencing the feeling behind music like SOPHIE, and PC Music as a whole... I think it’s something that anyone with an open mind can find something genuinely real and substantial in, and break down or further erode barriers that bring us all a bit closer together. I think it’s all a beautiful and largely a-political message, void of all the toxicity, or rather, just a movement behind this music, that really allows everyone to embrace not only our own, but also everyone else’s differences and quirks, in a completely organic way... and finding a place of acceptance and a state of mind that is closer to our true selves, and that’s really incredible. SOPHIE will be missed, the impact was real and will continue to be. I can’t believe I’m actually typing this right now, still...

I’m so shocked of this news. Rest In Peace SOPHIE. This one hurts...

Y’all remember like 2 years ago now, I said Waterfall was one of the standout tracks?
