I hope so... ...AND I hope my friends, who are kind of locals tbh, like it too. I’ve had to hear it all from them, how Charli is (or isn’t) this or that, but just about any time a popular song of hers has come on, they’re bobbing their head to it... so idk what their deal is. They’re (mostly) fans of most things The 1975 and Rome, so I hope Charli just smashes it and makes them think twice lol. I, on the other hand, will enjoy every second of it...

So what you’re saying is (if true) that would (now) be 3 new Charli features... that, if it’s like other strings of drops she’s had in the past, could all be leading up to a new album? ...ok

Maybe they’ll give us a POP 2 esque banger like I Like America... or an electro pop track like What Should I Say? or a nice little bop like Warm or TOOTIME... there are many routes in their wheelhouses they could go!

that’s a vibe yes I think for me, all those SOPHIE x Charli collabs were really, like ultimate pop escapism. It was like pop music for electro clubs, but whatever planet you were on, there hearing and dancing to those songs, they were the songs soundtracking this sort of immaculate, cosmic utopian idea lol. In my mind, Charli and SOPHIE were a space-age duo. Even through some of the more unsettling, extreme industrial sounds that SOPHIE would create, it was in such a “ying and a yang” type of balance with the hyper glossy, bubblegum feeling, it really just got all the gears in my head turning. Imagination running wild. It felt otherworldly...

You don’t even realize how much I was looking forward to hearing that record... Been thinking about this too.

It’s definitely setting in harder over time than just reading that she had passed away... I was in completely shock and disbelief when I saw the news, “it can’t be, there’s no way”... but the music is hitting so differently now, it’s truly transcendental stuff and knowing she’s passed on... it’s truly wild. So sad. So much potential. So much more to give to the world.

This just... hurts to read... Things like that aren’t supposed to happen. Makes all of this even worse.
