Lana never said the album would be out in January. And she also kinda explained what was happening in her miss Daytona account, she obviously couldn't say more. Also is not like she has been idle this whole time, there are pictures of her in the studio in JUNE. she shouldn't be attacked for doing what she thought best for the record, she didn't do it to dipise us...

cannot believe Lana is being dragged for things artists do all the time. Halsey also released a single around last October as a promo single just like lana and there isn't even news about her album. But its seems like her fans have brains and understand that a promo single is not the same as a lead single and doesn't mean the beginning of a new era. Or Lana stans just take advantage of the fact that Lana doesn't defend herself, and take this delay as a good reason to bully her.

is anyone else worried that if the album flops interscope and polydor will drop her? they never post pics of her on Instagram not even when she releases a single. But they post about billie every day . Also her singles are sometimes under polydor and sometimes under interscope and sometimes under intercept- lana del rey like if they were passing her around

It is so sad that the name Lana del rey has backfire for her, now she doesn't live up to the expectations to that glamorous name. But I think this change is for the best, like marina says " its better to be hated than loved for what you are not"

I think the Lana del rey persona was inspired by Marilyn, it wasn't a persona at first it was like the person Lizzy wanted to become. Later she learned that that comes with the risk of ending up like her: miserable, alone and dead. I think Lizzy with her aesthetic as may jailer was her truest form and I am glad that she has come back to that. Specially because sirens is one of my fave albums of all time, while the music is not very comercial and sparkly it really is very haunting and special.

I like more this style, it reminds me of may jailer with almost no make up and very natural, the music is similar too. Lana del rey was a persona, it was never really her. She changed herself because she felt Lizzy grant was plain.

I really think she meant the last months of the year because she allways knew she wanted the poetry book to come out first, and that would take time. In march she said it will take her 6 months. And thats why she released those singles as promo singles and not a lead. Maybe in 3 moths we will have news about the album once the book I released
