My show was 1000 people and it didn't sell out until hours before, that being said she's way more popular in San Diego and with all the press she's getting would probably sell it out in a matter of minutes. I buy tickets at school all the time because my classes don't have a no laptop policy, but if I was in your situation I'd have a friend ready to buy them for you if your plan doesn't work out. Pre-sale usually requires you to be registered for something (either the fanclub, venue or promoter) to get the password. Presale is only a set number so if you don't get them then the general sale would work out for you. When it's a big show LiveNation usually crashes (like my Lana show did, go figure), so just be patient

If so I really think a cover of Take Me to Church would be unexpected, but really good.

listening to some of the stuff on soundcloud now Started with "Lottery" then "Real" and "Know What I Want" and it's nothing spectacular, the harmonies sound tonally off. Her voice just generally needs a tad more polish, instead of dead eyes she suffers from dead voice, I hear no emotion. I'd probably enjoy this if I was stoned

I think people feel the way they do because she stopped using her lower register as much as she did in TFJ, it was very unique and she jumped back and forth a lot A lot of what she does is higher and there's not as much variety, so maybe you think she's not showing as much emotion? people are bemoaning her lyrics right now and acting like she's changed her vocals to appear more commercial when it's pretty clear she's 1. made it obvious she doesn't care 2. says she's most proud of how she's grown 3. had a chance at chart success with HTBAH and failed You're entitled to dislike something, but don't make it sound like everything was intentional.

but you like Taylor Swift....she's one of the most benign and uninteresting celebrities in mainstream music

Not here for it, after his debut mainstream pop singers tried to work with him and he was either out of ideas or they asked for the same kind of production because everything started to really sound the same
