I think it depends on the album for me. LFL and Blue Banisters are the only ones that my favorite songs have changed drastically from first listen For LFL, I LOVED Summer Bummer, God Bless America, and didn't care for White Mustang, Get Free, and When the World Was at War. Now it's the opposite Loved Black Bathing Suit, Dealer and didn't care for WFWF or Violets for Roses, now I love those two and don't listen to BBS or Dealer all that much

Welcome! What a wonderful first post. This is something I think about a lot, and I am very grateful to be experiencing the evolution of her music with all of you. She is undeniably one of the last great American singer-songwriters out there, and like you've already mentioned, the waves of her impact are already being felt. I remember the first day I discovered her when I listened to Video Games for the first time, before BTD even came out. It was right then and there that I knew she was going to be one of the greats of our generation. The new record is going to be out of this world if it's anything like the title track + album descriptions. She had a vision, and never compromised for anyone.

If Lana quit her career or decided to take a five-year break, I wouldn't even be *that* upset at this point. Seriously. We all need to be a little more grateful with how often she releases great music. Almost ten albums in ten years, over 11 hours of music, hundreds and hundreds of good to great to excellent unreleased. We've been MORE than fed by this woman

I think this will be the record where she finally gets everything off her chest in a cathartic way, it will pretty much be like looking into Lana's diary and listening to her most private thoughts It's giving her most raw studio album to date, but raw in this sense doesn't mean messy or unfinished like Blue Banisters, but more like AKA/Sirens in a way

I bet you thought people were going to laugh at this. Well, you thought WRONG

My career highlights from each album BTD: Off to the Races/Video Games Paradise: Ride Ultraviolence: West Coast/Brooklyn Baby/Shades Honeymoon: ok, I ADORE Honeymoon but i'm not sure about this one. I personally think Terrence Loves You & The Blackest Day are highlights Lust for Life: Heroin/Get Free Norman: Mariners/VB/The Greatest Chemtrails: White Dress Blue Banisters: Wildflower Wildfire - similar to Honeymoon, more of a personal opinion than something a little more objective (even though is is all subjective lol)
