In regards to the polarized reactions to Blue Banisters that echo the mixed initial reviews of Ultraviolence and Honeymoon, maybe she was onto something here

Yeah, I see this being a very polarizing, love or hate type of thing with the critics and reviewers. Probably around the early 70's range.

This album has such Fall energy, and i'm not just saying this because it's October Here in upstate NY, the Fall foliage has been at its peak, and now the weather is getting colder + the leaves are falling. I was listening to the album on my daily walk, and got the chills. Especially the middle songs are Fall personified through music.

It's a good song, but lyrically speaking, I don't think it quite fits with the themes of the record at all. You described it best, it is very specific, but not in the way of Blue Banisters or Sweet Carolina.

Living Legend really needed some changes imo. That's my only real qualm about the album at this point, but again, most people who aren't superfans haven't heard it.
