I think that Violets for Roses will be the "Bartender" of the album, in the sense that it might be very meandering and experiment with more of a free flowing instrumentation. Black Bathing Suit will likely be the usual fan favorite track, but I don't know what to expect of it, really. I predict that Sweet Carolina will contrast with Cherry Blossom in a way in terms of style. I think that CB has somewhat of an anxiety about facing the world to it, despite its maternal and soothing lullaby. Sweet Carolina will likely be the answer, or response to Text Book, and really focus on being in a good place with her family, instead of facing that longing or search.

I've been loving Lana's post-Honeymoon records, but in many ways, I have been craving that sublime sense of unity and cohesiveness that Honeymoon has. Chemtrails came close in this regard, but I do feel like it was missing that one track to tie it all together. It is looking like Blue Banisters will have that in store for me.

I'm not too much of a Lana collector, but I am obsessed with the artwork for this era. After the store was restocked, I now have all of the CD's on pre-order, a first for me

Text Book is actually a perfect opener, the more I think about it

2 more weeks With the amount of amazing tracks we have now, I really think that I can hold off until the 22nd. I'm so excited

Listening to Born to Die. While I have outgrown some of the lyrical content, the entire album still sounds fresh almost a decade later. So good

I adore Norman and it really is one of my favorite records, but the one qualm that I have of it is that it isn't very cohesive. It's a bit chaotic and all over the place in terms of sound. To me, Blue Banisters is of the same caliber thus far, but it really seems to be pointing towards a very cohesive record in ways that we haven't seen from her since Honeymoon.
