Craziest pre-release thread I've been here for since I started browsing LB in 2015.

Yeah, this is why BoZ said why are we focusing on the songs on the bottom of their lists instead of focusing on the fact that he hasn't been a Lana stan in over three years and still finds the album to be amazing and in her top three Focusing on the negatives isn't helpful, we should all be focusing on the positives and the fact that there have been wildly different reactions to each song.

You get it BoZ having Fingertips in his top five, Rosemead having it in his bottom three BoZ hating Margaret, Kintsugi saying Margaret is a really sweet song The insiders all having A&W as one of their top tracks, me personally enjoying the title track more Need I go on, there really will be something for everyone on here.

Look, we had two insiders say Kintsugi is a snoozefest (BoZ and Eclipse) and two insiders who said Kintugi is a beautiful track or the best song of all time (Rosemead and Kintsugi). This is a sign that the album is going to be amazing and we're all going to have our unique takes and perspectives about each song.

So true, bestie. Glad that we're getting a Lana record where everyone has completely different favorites again. I love Chemtrails and Blue Banisters, but it's very obvious which songs stood out more than others.

But yeah, agreed with @taco truck. This is all in good fun and no one should be mean to @Rosemead for their personal opinion. I'm glad that you're giving us insight into which songs resonate with you more than others!

For sure! I already have different taste from BoZ, and I prefer the title track to A&W, so it's safe to say that this album does have something for everyone, and all of our rankings are going to be different.

Agreed. I prefer Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd over A&W, so already my taste diverges from them anyways.

Yeah, my original skepticism was before A&W released lol, I didn't expect such a long and heavy track to be so popular Now we just have to wait and see if people get through 2 interludes so close together and three heavy tracks in a row with Candy Necklace, Kintsugi, and Fingertips

I was very skeptical about the streaming numbers for this album considering how long a lot of the songs are, but damn, I see this record being massive now.

Yeah, the fact that the album hasn't leaked by now is a feat, honestly. I truly thought it would have circulated two weeks ago. 3 weeks in advance is pretty rough, but off the top of my head, I know Father John Misty and Bjork have had albums leak over three MONTHS in advance. 3 weeks is nothing compared to that.

Did you know that there's a tunnel under ocean blvd and A&W sound absolutely sublime next to each other...I can't wait to hear how epic The Grants is that leads to the deep exhale of Tunnel and Sweet as a much needed relief between two very intense tracks
