Personally, I know that I'm going to love Kintsugi, but it's clearly shaping up to be the "Bartender" or "Change" of the album. Love it or hate it. Those who get it, get it. Those who don't, don't.

The only song that seems to have present vocal features on this album is Margaret. Every other track with a feature is either a short sample, instrumentation, or background vocals.

almost every album since the beginning of the internet has leaked prior to its release you can mitigate it as much as possible, but no record company can control every single store across the world; also, leaking/listening to a leak has absolutely nothing to do with respect

oh no, ocean blvd has an extremely beautiful melody just for whatever reason, that particular snippet outside of the context of the song didn't connect with me

I have no idea, I was just guessing, but based on what we know about Kintsugi and Fingertips, I would imagine it being very difficult to create melodies over songs that are so wordy and diaristic

I'm not judging Fingertips based on those snippets. I thought the Ocean Blvd snippet was like one of the worst things I've ever heard, but the full song is like in my top 20 of Lana's entire discography. Just don't go in expecting a melody with how wordy the song is, and I'm sure you all will like it. All three of the insiders had nothing but positive things to say about the track.
