  1. It’s stale, like old potato chips left out for a week
  2. This is exactly what I thought. Like it sounds thrown together and generic. Going from Artpop to this... I pretend Joanne or whatever didn’t happen, it’s weird she was trying this strange country sound and I didnt like it. I’m sad to say but I guess I’ve finally grown away from Gaga and I can’t go back. I wish I could listen to her and enjoy her still, but the quality isn’t there anymore like it used to be. When Joanne came out, I only like 2 tracks and those were Dancin In Circles and Perfect Illusion and with this... None of it stands out to me. There’s nothing like Telephone or Judas or Government Hooker or anything. And I understand that artists change their sounds and this is completely fine! But at this point, I hear she’s going back to pop and I... i’m disappointed. It’s not that it’s a trash album and it’s not good at all, I just don’t like it and can’t listen to it like I did TF/TFM, BTW, and AP. I say this bc i miss when Gaga was weird and still making unique music. I guess I can say the same about other artists too like Kesha and Katy Perry... but I still had a connection to Gaga and I had specific expectations and they fell through. I’m sad about this record.
  3. I... don’t like this album at all. I didn’t think I would either judging by Stupid Love. It’s all just generic and sounds all the same, each track. I just... what a disappointment. Glad she’s still making music I guess, but i can’t listen to it and genuinely enjoy it
  4. I completely agree, there’s some good songs they’re not all bad. But the album as a whole isn’t a good Lana record. It doesn’t make much sense compared to her other albums and feels out of place.
  5. I love this, I really kind of wanna use this for an instrumental album (if they leak)
  6. So theories!! when will Lana post next? what will she say?
  7. Yeah, there was something about it. I love both, but didn't like them together.
  8. I just don't like the album as a whole, I actually like that song tho. I think BPBP sounds worse, since Queen Stevie's voice has... how do I say it.... deteriorated over the years
  9. She would never bc she likes to start her albums with the title track most times. Either that or it’s the second track on the album
  10. THIS BUT IN COLOR AND IN A FUCKING TESLA, LIKE SHE'S TRYING TO PUT A RECORD INTO IT OMG
  11. or this idea with her opening the door to a car for a man like the valet, ""serving" men" with chemtrails above in the sky writing "Lana Del Rey" in the sky Imagine if she got Jared Leto to be the guy she's opening the car door to
  12. You said in your opinion, and I respect that. but you're wrong. NFR was cohesive as fuck. The lyrics, track list. Let me draw it out for you. I could be wrong, but I believe Love Song to BAR are all about the same person and tell a story, if not the entire album. In Love Song, she wants him to be her once in a lifetime, love of her life. Into Cinnamon Girl, he's not so great and pushes her away. How To Disappear, she's now reminiscing what could've been with said guy, changing his name twice, like the weather that she says he's like, later on California. With California, she wants him to come back and be with her because she wants those good memories back and what they could've been to be. By TNBAR, he's gone and she's talking about the same person as before, remember the love of her life? "We were just that good... it was just that good" I think Bartender to Hope is the final section of the record that she's just trying to let go, be free, be happy. Kind of like how LFL ended, she's still looking for that happiness and she's fooling you with Happiness Is A Butterfly. She says that she's not happy, but she's not sad, I believe that she's... confused, feeling lots of emotions but happy and sad are none of those. She simply feels hopeful, which scares her in ways, referring to the "monsters still under my bed that I could never fight off" which could be toxic relationships, her criticisms, alcoholism. Sorry I just decided to do a NFR analysis but it be what it be
  13. Nope. No thank you. I don’t want stuff we have heard before or know already. NO MORE “JUSTICE FOR YOSEMITE” ugh i don’t wanttttttt itttttttt
  14. Dont forget we can write in our votes. At least vote for local stuff, that's just as important.
  15. Imagine the gatefold actually popping up with the original logo thing/art that was before the album cover. or if it was something like a holographic baseball card inside the gatefold. I love vinyls
  16. i feel like this is more important than Lana's little spiel so what, she didn't speak exactly perfect in a PC way to fit someone's agenda. she's not racist at the end of the day joe biden on the other hand..... is a racist asshat. he used Obama to get his name somewhere, then he goes and says this shit. I hate him just as much as I hate Trump and as much as I hated Hillary. the US is still shitty and what's sad is it's not shocking that black people are still being killed by cops. the fact that it's NOT SHOCKING. to be able to say that.... fuck
  17. I really want this to be a good album and to like it, but I don't think I'll like it like I did her earlier stuff. I just.... :/ it sucks. I wish she'd get back to the sound of The Fame/Monster but I know this'll only sound like a repeat of Artpop.... which disappoints me
