    i don't think so, taylor has been crucified by a lot of people for not speaking up towards politics and i remember last year people were convicted that she voted for trump bc she didn't 'picked' a side

    she did this whole song in one take. it's incredible how much talent one woman can have.

     

     

    what's embarrassing about Dorian? her music is amazing, she's such a sweet and down to earth person... she deserves to be on charli's level.

    + dorian it's incredible, her work on refinery29 and queer history it's so on point and so important nowadays, you may not like her as a singer, but she's an awesome person and knows how to throw a party

    i know it's been like 2 days of release but troye singing 1999 on his concert is probably the most promo we gonna have until the music video if she doesn't drop soon

    i don't think there's a tv performance happening soon since it hasn't been announced yet so  :hdu:

    i hope 1999 ends up being like fancy... no one gave 2 fucks until the mv and *boom* #1

    it's just that lately i've been seeing comments, mostly on twitter, about charli and pc music, and how people distorted what pc music actually is - as i've seen people saying 1999 is a 'pc music song' just because it's a charli song - when actually it's not

    Don’t think I’m going to sit by while Tinashe slandar is thrown around this thread given that Charli is about 1 more failed release away from being on the next season of Dancing With the Stars.

    we can't expect a top 10 or top 5 without promo

    i wish atlantic would give charli the budget for a radio 'tour' like most artists do, tv performances (i mean even tinashe performed on GMA and today show, TINASHE!!!!!), a bit of networking w/ some other artists from the label...  :defeated:

    i played 1999 for 2.5 hours with a 20min break between each play on my uni's radio

    hoping people catch it on and keep listen to it at their homes

    I dont know about anyone who stans her like me (at least like me) in my city in Brazil, I am little monster but Charli is really something pop music needs nowadays and she has so much potential and its such a nice queen ❤ I'll love her forever

    also being from brazil i feel extremely lonely as a charli stan mainly bc i'm from nordeste aí já viu né but it's okay

    I'm not gonna post links here but go on youtube and search for 1999 and deslike/report (spam > on the details claim copyright from Atlantic) channels posting the song. We need people to focus on the official audio/lyric video/music video or whatever comes from Charli's channel.

    I guess Fresh Prince had already stopped airing (new) episodes by ‘96 so maybe it was considered inaccurate?

    tbh it seems like charli it's just doing a throwback to everything before the 2000s considering she was recommending and quoting movies from the early 90s and late 80s...

    anyways i was going through charli's vero and she recommended a few movies that we may get to see a reference on the 1999 mv such as romy & michelle, spice world, pretty in pink, 2001 a space odyssey, the doom generation and from the single cover, matrix

     

    i hope we get to see some jawbreakers / but i'm a cheerleader references, both from 1999 and gay icons  :hooker:
