i definitely think ldr9 could be similar to lust for life, possibly the "og lust for life" sound of lust for life (demo 1), heroin, yosemite, serene queen, valley of the dolls, & if i die young, since she's been very introspective lately, i think mike dean could further develop this sound with synths & hip-hop beats! i can definitely see this album being a "return to form" which is reminiscent of honeymoon, lust for life, & even born to die!

i geniunely don't understand people who are members of this forum, yet say such rude things about lana, she's just trying to be positive & show gratitude for the happy things in her life, sheesh...
-
i feel like ldr9 is coming this year, if not even more material (such as the 2nd poetry book, or the nikki lane collab album)
-
the new snippets are a cover, this isn't coconut & key lime pie @Say Yes to Heaven you can still keep the lyrics which were shared by david kahne, though!

could somebody link her instagram post?
-
you just know she was so proud of that brooklyn/gentrification take...
-
ngl i kinda was annoyed by it as well...

it's a shame how people can't just stay true to themselves like, if you're a lana hater, just be a lana hater, don't switch-up & act like you're her biggest fan when it's now acceptable within the internet & media

OH THE IRONY i don't think anybody else could've misunderstood her more when she thought brooklyn baby was problematic for not mentioning gentrification

i see where you're coming from, but when people feel confident & happy with their appearances & bodies, they sometimes want to show their body, they feel confident & attractive with themselves, i think it's natural, i love how i look & i can understand it, we all just express it in different ways, being confident doesn't necessarily mean you want to take revealing photos & share them to the world, i do agree, that people are a lot more than their appearences, or how sexy they are, i think we should focus more on people, especially women, for who they are, their talents, skills, & individuality, rather than just focusing on how sexy they are, we live in a very objectified society & it's still a huge issue for women, even men, because our society is so looks-based & it can lead to objectification, people not feeling beautiful, & a negative sense of vanity, but that doesn't mean it's anybody's fault because they felt comfortable in their own skin, some people like looking at it, some people don't, it's a complicated subject, whether or not you agree with lana's recent post doesn't really change the fact that she has the right to post it & she shouldn't be shamed for it, i'm just trying to offer you a different perspective, because we all come from different cultures & backgrounds, & sometimes they can clash & cause a conflict if we believe it isn't correct, i think a lot of issues in general have multiple sides & truths to them

nobody can resist the magic & allure of lana, not even her most ridiculous critics
-
well, we all have our opinions on things of that matter, personally, i really don't care to see lana's boobs every other day, however, it's 100% her choice to share photos of her body as much as she'd like to, some people like to be modest, some people like to show off more of their bodies, everybody has their own preference, she's still worthy of respect regardless of what she decides to post, & it isn't like she's never been nude or revealing for photoshoots before, so this isn't 100% something different for her

What Are Your Favorite "1-2-3 Punches" In Lana's Discography?
Dark Angel replied to Dark Angel's topic in Lana Thoughts
i know these are unreleased, but pin up galore, mermaid motel (demo), & trash magic (demo 1) go together so perfectly -
this topic was inspired by @Thunder's recent post in the random lana discussion thread, what are your favorite "1-2-3 punches"/sequences in lana's discography? a sequence is basically a group of songs which go together chronologically in an album's tracklist, this topic is dedicated to your favorite sequences which you especially love, here are some of mine! out with a bang -> dear elliot -> try tonight -> peace -> i'm indebted to you kill kill -> queen of the gas station -> oh say can you see born to die -> off to the races -> blue jeans honeymoon -> music to watch boys to -> terrence loves you
