  1. yes, there is a studio version of heart-shaped box
  2. well you would that with the extra time they've had during quarantine... maybe lana just spent her time learning different matcha recipes instead
  3. blue banisters, text book, wildflower wildfire, dealer, arcadia, thunder, cherry blossom, i talk to jesus, living legend, & wild one being submitted to the final tracklist
  4. i can only imagine the meltdowns that will occur if arcadia & the pre-order don't arrive on time
  5. i mean... i think the topic of the black lives matter movement & modern-day issues & politics plays a role in text book, but the "text book" line is literally about "text book daddy issues" which is what the song is about as a whole... what does lana being blonde have to do with modern-day america?
  6. unpopular opinion... i feel like her "screaming" vocals are way better represented by "tired of singing the blues" than "noir"
  7. i didn't know sean larkin became an insider... the fact that he's probably heard cotcc & dealer before any of us
  8. i was thinking of that! maybe she was hinting at something
  9. when the actual lyric is "i don't wanna live like a candle in the wind"
  10. i mean, some might think aka is rough & unfinished in it's sound, but it's my personal favorite ldr album i actually think the unmastered feel of it's production & sound adds to it's uniqueness
  11. "rough" & "unfinished" work can be some of the most interesting, unique, & thought-provoking, let's take kurt cobain for example, some of his rough, home recordings are some of his most interesting work, like "burn the rain", or his cover of "and i love her", he believed that his album "nevermind" was too polished and purposely made "in utero" more rough in it's sound, and i think some of the band's best songs are from that album
  12. we're just joking honestly there's a lot of stans who really are stuck in her past eras and think everything from the past few eras are boring & dull, we're just pointing that out, i would agree that being serious about it and thinking that all "white gays" are like that isn't a very mature outlook but i don't think anybody here really thinks that
  13. rough & unfinished almost gives me ultraviolence vibes since it was all recorded live, lots of reverb, etc. which is very exciting
  14. we all know i love rough demos & her polarizing work so i think dealer will be the song for me i am ready for the angsty rock rework of baby blue love
  15. friendly reminder that insiders have said that white dress was her saddest song, and that blue banisters sounded like yosemite & i don't wanna go... they're not always reliable, form your own opinions
  16. it would make sense, since dealer seems like it's very cathartic and emotionally-driven, and she scrapped it a few times, a song starting with "i don't wanna live" on an album about telling your story and being authentic, especially with other confessional lyrics from this album so far (especially wfwf), i think we're in for a treat!
  17. somebody should spill about the reworked unreleased tracks
  18. dealer starting with screaming suits us well, a chaotic & polarizing track
