  1. unbothered & cryptic icon
  2. why do i feel like this could go terribly wrong, wait until somebody drags her for the edit but that could result in another iconic lana del rey comeback
  3. i always get a little nervous when i get a notification that elle's posted in this thread, because i know lana's active on ig, and i never know what to expect
  4. although i do prefer "rock candy sweet" i also like "blue banisters" i think it's cute, and i like the alliteration
  5. the "insiders" should stop making up false info about the upcoming single/album and leak unidentified flying bill & crazy for you instead we're not falling for their clownery anymore but i will say, the idea of a song that's a mix between i don't wanna go & yosemite would be... heavenly
  6. manifesting atmospheric mermaid motel 2.0, with psychedelic surf guitars and light, feathery vocals
  7. give me children, take my pain away... and paint my banisters blue...
  8. well i'm personally excited for lana's upcoming song about painting, housework, being married, and having children
  9. this is a little random but i LOVE the harley davidson... so iconic blue raspberry motorcycle heaven
  10. @Diamantes WILD building an entire house in this thread right now
  11. i love how her vocals are feathery & light, yet also full & rich
  12. blue banisters will be the cotcc title track of this album rock candy sweet will be the tulsa jesus freak of this album
  13. honestly i like the idea of this kind of "revenge", sing about wanting a man/husband, and wanting marriage & children, and let people find it offensive, even though she's just speaking her truth
  14. just because it's mellow & subtle doesn't mean it's folk
  15. her idea of revenge is releasing a record that is so beautiful, vulnerable, and honest that it'll result in a cultural shift of the entire music industry
  16. it's a mix between the gentle femininity of cotcc & the vintage, somber, cinematic feel of honeymoon
  17. OMGGG at first i thought ya'll were joking but WE'RE WINNING!!! it's so heartfelt, somber, yet optimistic, and... blue i just know that this is a SERVE
  18. maybe the "bodega bae" photoshoot or the pearl photoshoot was for this album's official cover
  19. maybe the album cover is somewhat intentional, maybe her polarizing, experimental, avant garde masterpiece is finally coming the album cover is a little unsettling in a way, but i can honestly see the appeal of it, if it's paired with really strange, yet intricately crafted & beautiful soundscapes, it'd be a very weird contrast, but it'd be a serve? i can appreciate the early 2000s feel of it, but that's assuming that it's the actual album cover
  20. she's obviously reworking serene queen & ittj for this album
