it's honestly nothing like starry-eyed, it's a lot more organic & subdued, like mariner's, happiness is a butterfly, a tiny hint of mermaid motel's percussion in the outro, like a cool summer morning with a bright blue sky and bright green grass, but there's a feeling of uncertainty surrounding it... it's a really nice, relaxing, heartfelt song over-all

i don't think anything will be able to compare to late august, her hairstylist's cryptic instagram caption that didn't realistically mean anything significant had us all convinced that the album was going to surprise drop on august 28th/29th, and we truly believed it, the energy in this thread was unmatched and i don't know a better moment of chaos & delusion

we're going to hear something NUANCED, it's going to be DETAILED, it's going to be UNIVERSAL... INTRICATE, COMPLICATED, SURREAL, AUTHENTIC, BEAUTIFUL! a white dress, the blonde trailer park waitress at ruby tuesday's, the ghost of lizzy's past, the wedding gown of lizzy's future, a cloudy sky in the autumn, where she'll write about the mysterious "k"... the gas station... the west coast... and her bartender, but she won't ask for white wine, she'll just ask for cherry cola instead...

i love art & music that is polarizing, experimental, etc. so this is really promising! i think the squeaky "no great" vocal work is going to amazing, and imagine if the track's vibe is similar to the outro of cotcc, something melodic and ghostly... i knew it this entire time... white dress WILL be her magnum opus

i'm not saying that i want somebody to fail... but there's a possibility his upcoming album won't even do well since his last album was very underwhelming and "yummy" was objectively shitty, but like i've said, he's very well-known and people are going to pay attention no matter what, the same could be said for any mainstream artist, ariana grande, drake, etc. it doesn't matter if their music is bad or not, at the end of the day we all know lana's music is artistic and authentic and nobody can take that away from her

i'm just grateful that i'm a part of this amazing forum and pre-release era, we may be delusional and chaotic but we're such a close-knit community <3 the true chaos will happen on the night of the album's release, 5000+ people online, i'm predicting it we're going to hear yosemite in three weeks... a truly monumental moment in lana del rey fandom history...
