  1. they were very special, they have a very specific amateur, yet nostalgic and creative vibe that i haven't seen from any other artist or era of lana's career before, every music video has something unique and special about it, every clip she ripped off of youtube, and every outfit she was wearing, they all fit each respective video very nicely and they all have a very creative, nostalgic vibe, my favorite is mermaid motel

    Song vs. Song

i talk to jesus vs. wayamaya
  3. i like a very large majority of her unreleased, but there's a few that i think are overrated (yes to heaven, serial killer, you can be the boss, etc.) and there's a few that i just don't like (jealous girl, betty boop boop, roll with me, etc.) but i think it's amazing that i love a very large majority of her unreleased work, whether it's a bright & girly pop song, like marilyn monroe, or a simplistic, yet emotive folk song, like money hunny, i know that lana's a truly special artist when i love all of her work, even if it's evolved so drastically over the years
  4. i like queen of disaster, but i can relate with not liking some of her most well-known unreleased... i don't really like serial killer or you can be the boss they're okay, but i hardly listen to them...
  5. when cotcc is such a quality album that it's transcended time & space and she wins every single award at the grammy's... the revenge of lana del rey
  6. me, showing up to the chemtrails over the country club world premeire on march 19th, at 12:01am, ready to celebrate the album of the decade
  7. when i'm just trying to show my appreciation for the title track and everyone else is arguing
  8. the feeling of being at peace & having a sense of eunoia, yet nervous, retrospective, and doubtful in the title track is just perfect
  9. i would agree that it's a very casual track, thematically, but that's just at first glance, there's definitely a feeling of uncertainty within the track, despite the seemingly perfect and utopian day-to-day, which is perfectly reflected in the title itself "chemtrails over the country club" and i think this idea of a sense of anxiety & uncertainty while also living a happy, peaceful, flourishing life is very interesting
  10. a mix between the midwest inspired folk & psychedelic rock, and the nostalgic, luscious hawaiian glam metal & surf noir...
  11. this album is for strolling through a sunflower field, taking a hike on a mountain, and taking care of your carrot & herb garden in late october, ldr8 will be for lounging at the beach in the late spring, visiting an aquarium, and eating fruit in the morning sunlight
  12. i'm listening to the title track and it's just gorgeous i feel optimistic & peaceful whenever i listen to it, i hope i'll feel the same way about the rest of the album, i think yosemite & not all who wander are lost will definitely feel happy & relaxed, and the fact that dark but just a game was described as a "state of defiance" could mean that it's empowering, in some way, i love how diverse and characteristic this album is, and we haven't even heard it yet, but we'll finally be able to listen to it in exactly two weeks!
