i actually like the carpet and the light blue walls... it's a shame it's being used on such a lack-luster theme -

i think you might be confusing valley of the dolls with roses bloom for you, she once said that roses bloom for you could've been the intro, but i don't she's ever acknowledged valley of the dolls -

different songs, i'm sure @lanaismamom i'm pretty sure the alt. titles (ice cream, pink flamingos, get high) are the titles of the demos, similar to how the freak demos are "freak like me/freak like me too" and the god knows i tried demo is "god knows" -

yeah, i feel like we're going to be seeing a lot of boring looks honestly, i wish the theme was more specific/interesting... but at the same time... the theme could literally be "vivacious vegetables" and people would still show up in basic dresses and suits -

i know that album is post-layne staley which i don't know if i would be interested in, it may have a different vibe compared to the first three albums, but i guess i can't say for sure since i don't know anything that is post-layne

lately i've been discovering more of alice in chains' discography, i've listened to alice in chains (self-titled album), sap, jar of flies, and i'm listening to the mtv-unplugged live album at this very moment, i'm at a point where i can say that alice in chains is probably my favorite out of the big 4 grunge bands, but maybe i would have to listen to more pearl jam albums to know for sure lol! i like basically every song off of facelift, dirt, and alice in chains, and pretty much everything from the two EPs my favorite songs from alice in chains are... probably... man in the box, sea of sorrow, sunshine, brother, am i inside, rain when i die, down in a hole, rooster, dirt, angry chair, would?, rotten apple, heaven beside you, shame in you, and frogs but, out of all of them, my #1 might be rotten apple

good for him, post-humous releases can often be exploitive, the artist isn't around to make decisions regarding the music, especially when it comes to post-humous collabs or old demos

i'm still struggling to understand how ride was "worse" compared to anything else she did regarding a "daddy" aesthetic, which i don't know if i would say was an "aesthetic", her use of the word daddy was mostly inspired by 1950s culture and she specially said she didn't have a complex
