very fascinating that they seem to be referencing the 2010 song "daddy issues" i wonder if lana remembers it/how she feels about it now, it's honestly one of my favorites, it's such a strange, fun song! this was a very fun and wholesome interview, i'd love to hear rob's country song lol!

Which non-folk singers would make an amazing folk album?
Dark Angel replied to Madonna Thor Complex's topic in Music
obviously it could never happen now but it would've been amazing if alice in chains did more folksy stuff while layne was still alive (not familar with really anything post-layne as of right now) -
mermaid motel (demo), pin up galore, and trash magic (demo 1) every man gets wish wish (version 2), heavy hitter (version 2), and hawaiian tropic

List of unleaked songs and albums' outtakes

i looked through lanapedia's "list of leaks" page and couldn't find anything for them, on lanapedia, you can view old versions of a page with the "view history" tool, on june 9, 2013, it mentions a demo, but i can't tell if they mean the laptop demo or the no kung fu demo, which seemed to have already been leaked by that point i looked through more, but it doesn't seem to be clear during the earlier years where or when the laptop demo came about, i wonder if that one was always out there, sorta like AKA, which might suggest that it was already on the internet, such as one of lana's old myspaces pages, which is pretty interesting to think about doing the same for pawn shop blues wasn't very helpful either, lanapedia didn't even acknowledge or have any info about the pawn shop blues demo until 2016, when they added the demo lyrics to the page, i would also assume that perhaps this version of pawn shop blues was always on the internet, or leaked very early on -
finally got around to listening to it, this version is okay, i feel like the james ford version would've been better since it was the most well-known version and it's the best version, the lack of drums just feels weird for this song, but i do like the new guitars, i'm happy that say yes to heaven finally found a "home" and i'm sure lana is as well

considering the fact that you have the rest of the unmastered, some of which are hardly different from the album version, i think it makes the most sense to include the ocean boulevard unmastered as well, even though they may not be that exciting or really worth having in one's collection, i think it's good for archival/completion purposes
