Well, Ghost EP and NTMT were released because she earned a lot of momentum, popularity and sales/streams because of her releasing the rough demo for Everything is Embarassing. People wanted more from her so badly. The Ghost EP was pretty much a compilation of songs she recently recorded (that's why they all sound very different from each other) and was a good way to capitalize from EIE viral hit moment. NTMT was pretty much allowed to be released because Capitol allowed her only if she funded the whole thing from her own pockets and release it in a certain window of time, because they didn't want her to lose the momentum and popularity. It was Capitol last "Sky Ferreira is popular right now" moment, so they took advantage of it and Sky said "watch me record the whole album and finish it in three weeks".

- She was busy with acting gigs during around 2015-2018. - She got sick or had health issues during around 2016-2019. - She has been busy recording Masochism throughout 2013-2022. - The pandemic axed the chance to release music planned during 2020-2021. That's why she hasn't toured or hasn't release music (mostly because of label issues the latter one). Also, she prepared a covers EP last year, but the information about it got leaked here in LanaBoards by an insider and it got heavy negative feedback from her fans on social media.

Now, this is a cruel joke. Now that's a song I really want to leak.

Because bitch only has ONE album (and three EPs) which was not a big success in sales. She has no toured that much since her career started. Her last big tour was with Miley Cyrus during her Bangerz days. Her last big acting gig was for that very brief cameo in "Baby Driver" back in 2017. She has had zero to little success as an actress. She only gets very small cameo-like roles. Her last big model gig was years ago and recently she's trying to restart that. OF COURSE SHE HASN'T PAID CAPITOL BACK ALREADY! The little money she ears she uses it for herlsef, debts and music recording/production.

I know exactly where you are coming from, I adore so much that song but it drags too long. Sometimes when I'm listening to it I want it so badly to finish at the 8-minute-mark and move on to the next song. She could've easily cut-off 4 or 5 minutes and it might be a better song.

Thank god they are not assholes like other labels *cough* CAPITOL RECORDS *cough*

I'm still shocked with how perfect the album is. In my opinion, the weakest track is Find Love.

It's news to me. I guess she didn't like being in a big label that much. I guess she has the means ($$$$) to buy her out of contract, or maybe it was a very flexible contract (1 release or whatever).

I find it hard to believe too, but who knows, it might be true. @1000Times Do you know something about it?

Well, I don't know why she thought Fantano would like Lightning, I mean, he's a hyperpop era fan, not a True Romance fan. More like "CRASH: The Lightning Edition"

This NEVER works, but I sign the petition anyway. Rather say we tried than we didn't give a fuck.

That's not official, though. It's a fan-made deluxe. And I think I read somewhere that "2hot" became one of the CRASH songs.

They seem, to me, the worst label in the US. But oh well, it's kinda also the artists fault for not reading the whole contract, and if they did, well... they knew what they were signing for.

Sky has been dead for years, yet our goddess Charli asked her through a ouija board if she wanted to make a final song for the gays and when Sky said yes, Charli resurrected her for a few minutes just to have her record her lines and then went to hell again. Praise Charli XCX for this huge bop.

I'm mexican and I have no idea what a motomami means, she loves to invent new words. To me, this is a truly bad album, lyrically is awful, the production is a mess. I hate reggaeton so... But it's a fun album, not gonna lie.
