  1. I actually found it quite pleasant! It's a nice song, has nothing groundbreaking to it nor does it have any kind of replay value, also I will have forgotten it by a few minutes ---- but I didn't have a bad time listening to it though

i kind of get what you're saying, i love both songs so much but maybe part of what you feel is because LMLYLAW ends so abruptly, which makes it feel like she didn't finish expressing what she felt

but it's not as much a problem as it is imo an artistic decision and could lead interestingly into the next track or as a theme/idea in the record of suppression/holding back/not being able to reach a certain place!!!

even thinking about how she wants to "leave LA" but struggles, it's like reaching for a dream or for the ability to feel, experience, live more deeply, but LA limits her thoughts and her experiences and keeps her trapped

Tbh to me it expresses how impatient she is to leave LA - it sounds like the music itself hurries to finish, which goes so well with the lyrics. I love this song so much damn :defeated:It all sounds so warm I don't know how she did that. Am I having a hot flush listening to it or does anyone else feel the same?

I’m obsessed with Lolita but I’m not a massive fan of the final production. I prefer the demos. I wish we got a live studio version of the version she performed back in 2012 because this is MAGIC

    So damn iconic!

Obviously she's not an intelligent adult. And criticzing irresponsible actions is not nitpicking. But since you resort to the "cry about it" argument - have fun in kindergarten tomorrow. Not gonna waste anymore time on this discussion.

    I screamed :rip:

How about we don't normalize God complexes? It's one thing to be proud of your own work, yourself and even a little bit arrogance is okay, but please she's not omniscient as she has painted herself here. :scoff: that's what people have taken issue with. In the end all I can say about all this:

Do I contradict myself? Very well then, I contradict myself; I am large - I contain multitudes. :shh2:

My point is, it is something every successful artists share bc it's deeply human. We all would feel the same.

First of all ugly, why you searching my posts to find something from 3 YEARS AGO? Freak!

Secondly I wasn’t talking about the cship, but instead her musical output, which you’d see if you actually learned to read past ABC at school. I was talking about how Britney was responsible for the highs of glory as equally she was responsible for the lows of Britney Jean. The cship has NOTHING to do with this

and lastly my point still stands. yes she needs to be freed from the cship but it is ugly and misogynistic as FUCK for you to support the commenters on her IG posts who are claiming she has bruises and red marks on her body. shut the fuck up and crawl back under your rock

All I did was a 2mn google search kid, to prove your great insight

You're free to believe that her career and c-ship have nothing to do with each other but please don't be so arrogant about it it's quite laughable.

+ who/what did I even support? Learn to read

This is a complete lie, she's never been "manipulated into making music she didn't want to make".

    bingo

This is honestly the dumbest crap that Britney fans keep peddling. She is not some poor lost puppy being forced to be at POM and sing. She is a lot stronger and more independent than you think she is. Glory was almost entirely her own input, and POM is somewhere she has chosen to continue staying because she prefers it there.

you literally have brain worms if you think anybody but Britney is posting on her IG. she has always been quirky in terms of her personality and that hasn’t really changed, it’s just that IG has allowed her to express her quirkiness in a way that we only really saw in some interviews previously. plus, the things that she posts are hardly that bizarre. they’re pretty much what every FB 30ish mom posts. I mean, minion memes? badly taken selfies with filters? live laugh love? it’s not that weird

yes Britney is in a terrible situation, yes she should not be treated like a child. but the keyboard warriors who comment on her videos “she needs help, she’s wearing yellow11!!” need to fucking stop. they are so infuriating. the same people claiming to help her by speculating on her mental health and spreading nasty rumours about her are the same ones who lambasted her in 06/07. it’s gross, misogynistic, and downright creepy that people are so obsessed with knowing about her like this

pretty sure you're the same type of guy who would have said "nooooo she's not forced to do anything she's in full control of her career and loves her job"
