Are you guys sure she's got something done besides lip injections? To me it has always seemed that her face looks like that because of the weight gain, I don't know about fillers (I'm no expert).
Anyway, she looks good, especially considering she is not wearing makeup, or is wearing very light makeup?

I don't know if this has already been posted but Wait For Life is (in my opinion) one of "her" best songs.

I really enjoy Honeymoon now. I didn't like it at first but I've come to appreciate it's overall solemn mood. It's nice that it's not so in-your-face, as many of us would have expected, but more subtle and relaxed. That is what Lana seems like, too.

a person can be very , very kind and warm and outgoing around people even, but inside be just dying.. and want to be dead.
same can go the other way to, people whom look deeply depressed, aren't always so..
side note- maybe Lana could plan the next tour to start on Kepler **** the new planet like earth possibly, that they found today..
I'll go with her.. gather up and get the fuck outta here..
That's what I'm saying. "I will never understand how she manages to always APPEAR with a smile". "She SEEMS happy". "She SEEMS very kind". It's something that I haven't seen in other public figures.
It was an implicit compliment for her professionalism.
Whether Lana really is happy or not, only she and her loved ones know.
You guys should improve your reading comprehension skills

"I wish I was dead already" — Lana Del Rey, 2014.
That was in an interview. I'm talking about public appearances. She seems very kind and warm.

what the fuck is this hair doing
reminds me of those little brown dogs. i don't know the different breed names, but that's sort of besides the point here
Yorkshire Terrier? I don't know much about dogs, but that's the first thing that came to mind with "little brown dogs."

I will never understand how she manages to always appear with a smile. That's something I admire about her. It's as if she never has a bad day or at least doesn't show it. She always seems happy and relaxed.

The song is slowly growing on me, but I mainly like the instrumental only. I found this and it's beautiful: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oR9flmjewlE

Lana's "lack of inspiration" gave us her best album to date-- it even includes her best song ever.. With an incredible production by Dan Auerbach, Blake Stranathan, Greg Kurtsin, Daniel Heath, Lee Foster and Lana herself, Ultraviolence feels chaotic, warm, dark and extremely melancholic. 90/100.
Are you talking about West Coast?

Does anyone remember the name of the songs that Lana made a fan listen to before UV was released? I think she met him in Brazil or something like that, I can't remember the story correctly, sorry. I just want to know if the names match with the ones on the album.

I've been trying to improve the monotonous part of my voice in both my talking and singing and I think I'm starting to make progress. I used to talk/sing in my throat badly and I basically don't do that anymore. People can hear me better now that I am kind of projecting more so that helps.Interesting. How is one supposed to talk if not from one's throat?

1- Why do you seem so nice and kind but insist on wearing fur?
2- What is your opinion on illuminati conspiracy theories?
3- What is your idea of God (a creator that watches his creation from the sky, ancient aliens or are you more a deist or a pantheist, etc.)?

I love that the video has been met with critical acclaim by those with knowledgeable opinions of music video production.
Would you please post a link or mention some examples? Thanks in advance.

Blue Jeans didn't had too much going on, but it was atmospheric and still somehow told us a story.
I don't hate this new video, but you can just see that there was 0 effort put into it and the scenes y'sll are trying to interpret seem very random to me. There is not really any passion behind it, that's what's bothering me. And however she will explain and make excuses for this in interwievs, the video will stay boring. Not because it was filmed on a phone or because it has no plot but because it was filmed without any motivation.
You said exactly what I was thinking.
Running out of ideas is no excuse for this. Yoann Lemoine had the ability to turn a cliche idea into a masterpiece with Blue Jeans. He has such an eye for detail.
Summertime Sadness, the song, for example, wasn't that great to me, but the video made it more powerful.
To mention other artists, look at what Romain Gavras did with just "human beings in a mob" (please watch No Church In The Wild).

You don't need an outlandish concept, just someone who can execute it properly.

I've always wondered... do you guys think that people who work with Lana or even she herself browse this forum? And if they did, do you think they would consider anything we say? These are dumb questions, but I'm curious.

New age philosophy is for people who want to feel spiritual through changing superficial aspects of their lives or acquiring "hidden" knowledge, while losing contact with reality. I'm not a skeptic of the supernatural, just a person who is very aware of how damaging these cults can be. Reading esoteric books and such on your own is good but being surrounded with like-minded people is dangerous.

I don't know if it's the production, the instrumentation, Lana's singing style or whatever but Paradise is not good to me. I'm not sure what kind of sound they were trying to achieve but, in my opinion, it wouldn't have changed anything if she didn't release it. The only songs I genuinely enjoy are Cola and Bel Air (Body Electric, too, but only the live version). And I hate the cover, her face is overly photoshopped and looks deformed.

No one is going to agree with me but I think Kanye West and Lana are similar in many ways, it's not easy to explain. All I can say is they are the only mainstream artists I find interesting.

The ending of West Coast. It's the most beautiful thing I've ever heard, I'm obsessed with this song.

Two questions: I don't know where else to post this, but has anyone else tried the "invisible counselors technique"? Lana said Tropico was partly inspired by Charles Haanel's experimentations with imagination but I was confused since Napoleon Hill (whose work she has read) also talks about using your imagination to receive guidance from historical figures. So, was it a mistake on her part or did they both talk about this technique?
