  1. It's still a malicious thought to wish for an album to leak, even going as far to say that an artist deserves it. Again, no one deserves for their art & work that they put their time, heart, and soul into to leak. & I'm agreeing with you on how it's perfectly reasonable to be upset about the messy rollout. What I'm defending here is the fact that it's not okay to wish for an album to leak because an artist "deserves" it - no matter what the circumstance. & again, we'll never know for sure, but I'm sure a lot of this has to do with the state of the world right now with COVID. Also, money doesn't buy happiness. It doesn't matter if she's rich & privileged, that doesn't make anyone immune from the mental damages COVID can have. You could be the richest person on earth and still be dealing with mental turmoil. Money doesn't magically fix those kinds of things. Sure, she doesn't have to worry about the financial damages COVID has caused, but the mental impacts of COVID can impact anyone - including Lana. She's spoken about the mental effects COVID has had on the world more than once, and I'm sure that comes a place from her personal experiences with it. So, just be patient with this release rather than wishing for a leak. We've already been so patient, what's 11 days more... seriously x
  2. Sure, it's perfectly reasonable to be upset about the poor communication. But to manifest & hope for a sabotage of her album release by having it leak? Not so cool. & we'll never truly know why the album rollout has been a bit weird with the silences and reschedulings, but we have to keep in mind we're in trying times right now with COVID. Not only can that impact some of the external factors of the release stuff such as vinyl productions, but remember that artists are human beings just like the rest of us and can also be affected by some of the mental hardships COVID has caused, as we all have. So sure, there's nothing wrong with being frustrated about how this rollout has gone - but that does not mean Lana "deserves" to have her project leaked. No artist ever deserves that for their art and their work, no matter the circumstance x
  3. golly, is this disrespectful. I'll never understand the weird entitlement some fans have that it's an artist's duty to serve them with new music, and if they don't to the fan's satisfaction, then they "deserve" for their project to leak. Just be patient. We're less than two weeks away now. After all the waiting we've already done, we're all able to wait 11 days more for the album to be released without manifesting leaks. A leak-free rollout would be amazing. & that's what Lana really deserves, especially since she's been rather prolific with her releases considering there's other artists who wait several years at a time to release x
  4. You guys KNOW I’m active on this thread rn, and so you choose NOW to start another gif-gate? Tragic x
  5. Remember that posting a leak of COTCC on LanaBoards will result in an immediate, permanent ban! I’ll be keeping my eye on you these next following days... I’d also just like to that this time to encourage everyone to not “manifest” leaks! I must admit, all the talk of hoping for leaks is sort of disheartening to see. The album is so close, and it would be nice to finally have a completely leak-free album release. Respect Lana & her art, and wish for the best - not the worst! (& if you wont do it for Lana’s sake, at least do it for my sake. I really don’t want to have to deal with another leak fiasco) xx
  6. You were the very first person I thought of when Yosemite was confirmed to be on the track list. I really hope it measures up to your expectations! x
  7. Guys please remember a LDR8 Pre-Pre-Release Thread will not be created until we have some solid indication that an album is actually in the works! The only reason the LDR7 PPRT was created so soon was because she first announced it the same night NFR dropped. But until we have concrete evidence, I look forward to partying w you all in the COTCC Post-Release Thread coming in less than two weeks xx
  8. I just shot them an email, hopefully there’s some way to remedy the situation.. I’m not sure if they even have any boxes left in stock they could send me as a replacement, but if not, I would hope for at least a partial refund since it was so expensive. I’ve really not been having luck with orders this week lol, Ulta forgot to include an item I really needed in an order this week too. (As a person, I am 20% hairspray and cannot ever be without it.) I actually am quite worried about the selenite heart for a different reason too bc I’m way too superstitious for my own good and take everything as a sign. Over-sharing below:

    Zella Day

I just had the most bizarre experience, and I feel the need to share. Someone asked me what brand a certain Lana dress I had was, and because I was too lazy to go upstairs, find the dress, and look at the tag, I decided just to go through my order confirmations in my email to find the order that would've said the brand. Well, while I was searching through all my orders, I found an order confirmation from 2017 that showed I had purchased Zella's Man on the Moon/Hunnie Pie 7" white vinyl. I literally don't even remember purchasing it. I've actually been hunting for both versions of the vinyl for awhile now (there's a white & a red reissued version, and I always seem to miss them despite the fact they aren't widely sought after and only go for $20 on resale) because I thought I didn't own either. I was so confused by this order confirmation because, seriously, I didn't remember ever ordering and receiving one. I checked the date on the order, and in 2017 I was living in Brooklyn. I moved out of Brooklyn in 2018 and I unpacked the majority of my stuff - important things like clothes, makeup, jewelry, collectables, etc. I thought I would have maybe kept the vinyl in the same drawer I kept all my CDs and such in while in Brooklyn since it was a 7", but when I looked in my room to check if I had the CDs from Brooklyn indicating that I had unpacked them, they were there. So I'm thinking ??? Where the hell would I have put this vinyl? Did I even ever unpack it? Did I really even ever receive it? Is this all an illusion?? Well, because I hate unpacking, I still have 5 unpacked boxes of stuff from my Brooklyn flat in my hallway (3 years later) and the rest are in storage. I had no clue of what box I would have even put it in because I wasn't even that sure of where I would have kept it while living in Brooklyn (and I was really hoping it wasn't in a box in storage.) I started digging through my boxes in the hall, and guess what I found in a box that contained random kitchen stuff - the Zella Day Man on the Moon/Hunnie Pie 7" red vinyl. I'm so fcking confused. Not only do I not have any recollection whatsoever of ever owning either of the MOTM/HP vinyls, but the order confirmation says I ordered the white vinyl and the one I found in my Brooklyn boxes is the red one?? Did the person I order the vinyl from mislabel which version they were selling? Did I order both and somehow lose all memory of ever ordering either? Is there still another Zella Day Man on the Moon/Hunnie Pie 7" vinyl on the loose somewhere in the depth of my belongings?? Also, a corner of the sleeve is bent - was this a result of it sitting in an unpacked box of random stuff for 3 years or was it already bent before then?? I don't know because I don't even remember originally ordering & receiving it!! I'm very glad I discovered that I at least own one of the vinyls so I can cross it off my ISO list, especially since the red one is actually the more limited one, but this whole experience has left me with a whole lot more questions than answers. & I still have yet to find the brand of that Lana dress someone asked about that led to this whole experience. That's all, thank you for listening x
  10. Exactly, the deeper cuts from her albums always tend to be my favourites - Sad Girl, Million Dollar Man, God Knows I Tried, etc. - which again is why even though I really enjoy the already-released COTCC singles and sing them all day long, I think I’ll end up liking the other songs even more x
  11. Really excited to compare this to my actual ranking when the album comes out, but here's my prediction based on the few scraps of information we have - Dark But Just a Game White Dress Not All Who Wander Are Lost Tulsa Jesus Freak Breaking Up Slowly Yosemite Dance 'Til We Die Wild at Heart Chemtrails Over the Country Club Let Me Love You Like a Woman For Free Also, I've found it a reoccurring theme that the singles Lana puts out before an album tend to end up being my lesser favourites of the album. (Mariners, Fuck it I Love You, Love, Lust for Life, Coachella, High by the Beach, Terrence Loves You, Music to Watch Boys to, Ultraviolence.. all songs that ended up in the latter end of my track rankings despite being singles released before the album.) So the two singles she released from COTCC aren't at the bottom of my list because I don't like them, but because I think I'll just end up liking the other songs better - this being based on my experiences with past albums x
  12. No. The only reason the Pre-Pre-Release for LDR7 was created the same day was because Lana announced the record on the night that NFR dropped. (Of course at that time it was called White Hot Forever, but it was still LDR7) Pre-Pre-Release threads are typically only created once there's some solid indication that an album is actually in the works, such as a song being teased. For example, the time between the creation of the LFL Post-Release Thread & the LDR6 Pre-Release Thread was 8 months, and it was created after Lana teased 'Happiness is a Butterfly' on IG, the first song teased from NFR. So, unless Lana decides to announce LDR8 on the night Chemtrails drops like she did last time, it'll be awhile before a LDR8 Pre-Pre-Release Thread is made x
  13. Well all the Violet merch I ordered finally arrived today after nearly 4 months, but I'm still excited to have received in nonetheless! Only thing is, the selenite heart in my Forgotten Vibes box was broken That can't be a good omen. I'm considering emailing them about it, but I'm not really sure what the solution would be - if they even got back to me, that is x

    Song vs. Song

    Honeymoon vs Million Dollar Man
  15. Alright kids, the thread's been unlocked. 15 pages of the bickering & nonsense have been moved out of here. Now behave. Mum luvs u, but she luvs u better when u all play nice xx
  16. Literally not me leaving LanaBoards for 2 hours to do work for my actual job for me to come back to all hell breaking loose in this thread...Disappointed, but not surprised! Thank you @Clampigirl for locking the thread. I'll be going through the thread to hand out WPs where I feel they're needed, and moving fighting posts out of here. Until then, the thread's staying locked. After that, I'll be keeping it under close moderation until I go to sleep. Can't catch no breaks here x
  17. The most expensive Lana vinyls tend to be the Lust for Life heart-shaped single, Lust for Life coke bottle vinyl, and the Blue Jeans 12" picture disc, all which go for $300+ With this vinyl, I think it's going to be hard to tell. There's never really been a vinyl this limited before, so that alone could cause a high price. The only thing is, the actual record is the same as all the other indie exclusive vinyls - same cover, yellow vinyl. Really the only distinct thing about this is the numbered OBI. So for that reason, only time will really tell us how much it will end up being worth. If this vinyl would have had a different cover or colour, it would definitely have been worth hundreds, maybe even in the $1000+ range in a few years x
  18. Damn, who knew the line "washing my hair, doing the laundry" would end up having so much depth and meaning.. a full circle moment x
  19. 1 left.. who will be the lucky snatcher x
  20. Only 28 left 60 sold in 5 minutes, so you got about 2 and half minutes left to snatch one up ladies x
  21. Now there's only 94.. they're going quick! Glad I snagged one

    Liamere

Liamere is a Slovenian trip-hop, electro-alternative duo featuring members Malidah & Ferguson. Their released projects include 'Liamere' (2015) and 'Provinces - EP' (2018) Some distorted versions of their songs have been passed off as fake LDR snippets a few times, which is actually how I discovered them about 4 years ago now! Sabotage (Music Video) Plaything (Live) Dakota (Audio)
  23. Another picture of that day that was recently posted of her stopping by a Bath & Body Works at the Anchorage 5th Avenue Mall -
  24. Remember that if legitimate snippets from Chemtrails do leak (with the exception of snippets from official music retailers such as iTunes), posting them or pointing users in the direction of where to find them will result in a ban xx
